    Paying problems sorted on Aliexpress.

Have been trying for yonks to order and pay for items from 'Aliexpress'. No matter what I tried I could not pay using my Debit Card. They now do not accept 'Paypal'. I always received an 'Error' message telling payment had failed. There are many similar stories as mine regarding 'Aliexpress' of which I must have tried many. Anyway today I come across

    2 MONTHS LATER

SOLVED . I used Incognito mode (Browse in private) in Chrome. Ctrl+Shift+N and that worked.

I tried it out of desperation and it worked first time. Anyone else been having trouble paying 'Aliexpress' ? Aliexpress cheaper than Ebay.

I've had no problems with Aliexpress, at least as far as ordering stuff. The time the stuff takes to get to me is another issue altogether.

May be the problem was cuz I was using Chrome? As I said in my first post I tried most things to pay for my items but kept getting an 'Error' message. Thankfully I found out that using 'Incognito' sorted out the problem. If one chooses to Google 'cannot pay Aliexpress for items' you'll see it's not just me that's been having this problem.

One would think that the folks at Alibaba are quite aware of such issues and glitches and at least extend a caveat.
Certainly, with the heavy traffic that they take on, it would be good [online] business sense to make the ordering process configured to be straight forward and universal.

I believe this type of snafu can be quite common when applying to payment and the fucked up issues that might in incur.

One manner in which to personally resolved such problems is to cease buying shit online.
Easier said than done, for some, as the blind insatiable drive to consume mindlessly is quite numbing.

So why have 'Alibaba' ceased using the most popular way to pay for items online by no longer using 'Paypal'?

I'd guess it's cashflow issue ot handling charges/fraud etc.
It does seem odd that the most popular system for the unbanked is refused.

Iused ali dozen time this month on chrome no probs , maybe a PC expert will advise could be cache etc?

I suspect the move away from Paypal is to try and move customers to AliPay.

Sorry to burst yer bubble Dill, they still advertise that they take 'Paypal' on the sellers page but in reality they do not.

What are the payment options for AliExpress?

Currently, you can pay using Boleto, Visa, MasterCard, QIWI, Western Union,Maestro debit card, WebMoney and bank transfer.

At first, AliExpress allowed its clients to make credit card payments through Paypal. However, due to the high commissions imposed by Paypal, AliExpress no longer offers this payment system. By contrast, AliExpress has reinvented itself and now it has its own credit card payment system, which resembles Paypal in many ways and offers the same security.
