There are many factors involved here ray.

One is that the place is fairly empty.

Anyway, I get what you're saying.

One factor is that the guy filming it put the manager in a difficult position, in that he knew damn well what his supervisor would want...for the returning customers with money to be prioritised.

So, did the guy smell? Was he generally being a nuisance? Did anyone actually complain? Only the manager knows all those things. It would seem that the sensible thing would have been to bag the meal and go.

    The manager of a McDonalds.

That's bit like being Head Bouncer at Mothercare or a Hod Carrier for Lego.

I agree but I noticed that even the guy filming (who was thrown out) asked for a receipt instead of taking his food outside. Is there a law there against taking food outside?

lady leo, "I am not corporate"

actually you are corporate mcdonald's little bitch, lady leo. I'd say the same thing if it were a male leo.

“Policing by the law for those unprotected by it”

the guy could have taken the homeless man to a better place for a meal...

This video has already had Mary forcing me to view it, because it was viral on Facebook and her Thai friends and her weren't sure what country it took place in.
Lucky I recognised that accent and the cops uniform all helped me identify that it was in America.
    Farang skills.

Stumped me as to where it was too. Mention of Myrtle Beach was a real give away though.

If they're too welcoming to the homeless, may be there's a significant risk that the homeless will want to hang out there as they do in public libraries.

I haven't watched the vid and I don't like to talk about all my charity work but some homeless are beyond help. We have swep here in Crewe if the temp drops by so much they can come stay in the YMCA for free but have to register before 7pm. Now obviously being on the street they generally don't know about this but being the good citizen I am but obviously I don't want to talk about my charity work being a bit shy and all that, I go and inform them of this, but some just won't move and refuse the offer of free accommodation for the night. Now I understand some are mentally fucked up as I speak to them and are let down by various government agencies but also many are mentally ok just on the streets for whatever reason and when I go out (but I don't like to talk about my charity work) I'm offering them a free room for the night when temps are like this and a meal and some still refuse, won't come to the YMCA and would still rather stay on the streets. Can't help some as they just refuse to be helped. Did I mention all my charity work?

On a serious note though (not mentioning all my charity work) homeless fall into 2 categories in the UK well actually 3, 1 the mentally fucked up who should be receiving government help, 2, those there by whatever reason who don't want to be there and have nowhere to go and 3) those that choose to be there.

Group 2 is who I choose to help and obviously 1 where I can when come across them. Have I mentioned my charity work?

It is shite in the UK if homeless and no one looking out for you especially when temps have dropped like this but can only help those who want to be helped as I can't physically drag someone to the YMCA for a free bed and feed who doesn't want to come. Did I mention all I do for charity?

One issue I came across in the UK was that the homeless had to vacate their temporary accommodation each morning. I forget what time but let's say 8am. It's good that they can sleep inside at night and it's better than nothing but it's not really helping the people become not-homeless, and the homeless people are still sitting in shop doorways or walking around city centres on freezing cold days.

I wouldn't know about homeless Brits or Americans, but I do know that many homeless people in Auckland choose the lifestyle. Maybe not "many" (relatively) now because of the housing crisis meaning there are now homeless people that are that way because of unfortunate circumstances, but several years ago I read a study where the homeless people were given a choice to have a room and a bed, but chose to roam the streets.

You really are a subhuman piece of shit. You would most likely be homeless yourself if it wasn't for the charity you take from your uncle who doesn't want a lowlife like you anywhere close to the family business. Enjoy those dividend checks you feckless mooch and the one thing that you can never say is that you do not accept charity.
