It is not about training. It is about the evolved differences between men and women.

Men evolved as hunters and warriors in the ancestral environment. That is why they are physically stronger and psychologically more attuned to aggressive confrontation.

In the modern environment those traits make them better soldiers and police officers, on average, than women.

^Well, I think women can do a lot of what men can do. They are usually smarter and more attuned to their senses including their intuition which can help as a police officer. My niece is a police officer and I also looked into training for it a long time ago. I know what they must go through to get hired and it is no joke.

    "Looking for suitably qualified people".
Unless they have a specific need for a certain type of person (male, female, fluent in Chinese, with computer forensics skills... etc)

So you are saying that women bring special skills to the police force.

So then it is useful to use the terms policeman and policewoman to distinguish between the distinct skills that men and women bring, respectively, to the police force.

How many times do people have to be told? Men and women are not equal, they are different.
Men are better at some things and women are better at others. It’s not a personal preference or about collective superiority, it’s about facts.
Would you prefer to report a rape to a male or female officer?
Gender roles are increasingly less stereotyped in first world countries, yet our legal systems usually favours the female in relationship disputes, especially where children are concerned.
Feminists want it both ways with retained exclusive rights for women. You cannot have it both ways.

Correct, and that is why I advocate the term "equivalent".

You know the difference between "equal" and "the same", right?

So says the limp lettuce who has no idea what being a man means.
You lack the necessary subtlety to pull it off.

I decided I didn't want to go through with it and applied to both nursing and teaching. Ended up getting into the teaching.
