Nothing it's just to give you the illusion of choice and a way of polarising people although this is a lot more extreme in the US than it is in the UK.

their policies. Just getting that in before harrytheswinger breezes in when he's dried his eyes over arsenal getting beaten by Bournemouth .

Anyway - nothing is different. They do not create policies, only add window dressing to the actions they have been told to take.

    Next?

Not really - They are the tools used to carry out the Hegelian dialectic that we call "law making".

You may find if it's posted in the Lounge or Speakers corner you still get the same responses. It's really not about banter these days it's about a perspective of one's opinion or humour.

    Just an observation.

Who was in charge when you went to school?

I'd hazard a guess it was Labour.

republican/conservative: the companies that hire people (all people, even liberals) need support through deregulation/lower taxes.

democrats/labor: help people with higher taxes and programs to help the poor.

can be summed up as a problem, a reaction to the problem, thus a solution offered. Governments do things the other way round though. They say "Ok, we have been told to remove all guns from the population" (the solution), so they think what reaction is needed for the people to accept that solution, which is "We are unsafe, something must be done, help us". So then they think "what can we do to make the people say and feel that? I know, lets get some random drugged up kids to go nuts in a school" or in the UK case, a known procurer of children to elite pedos to have a shoot up in a school where a lot of his victims studied, and have the judge seal all evidence under official secrets for 100 years

    Something like that.

Well if the so-called grown-ups can't answer the question best to leave it to the kids.

    The difference between Democrats Republicans

I recently asked my friend's little girl what she wanted to be when she grew up. She said she wanted to be president of the United States.

Both of her parents, liberal Dems , were standing there, so I asked her what she would do first. She replied: "I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people." Her parents beamed.

Wow, what a worthy goal, I told her. but you don't have to wait until you're president to do that. You can come over to my house, mow the lawn, pull weeds and sweep my driveway, and I will pay you $50. Then I will take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward a new house and food.

She thought it over for a few seconds, then asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over to your house and do the work and you can just pay him the $50?" I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party."

Her parents still aren't speaking to me!

The best and easiest explanation of the parties differences I have ever heard!

As you might've noticed, it's all about oneupmanship here.
    Nothing more, nothing less.

Posting a simple copy/paste here is a bit bizarre, first time I've done it, is there a solution.?
