Assuming you're resident here in this lovely land where do you get your news from?
Thai TV.
Internet, which channels?
Radio, what and where?
Maybe you just don't bother.
Post your preferred and share.
Thank you .

Why do you bother? Thai news? How does it actually affect you? One of the joys of being an immigrant in another country is that you don't have to give a toss.
Hmmm..
I have plenty of time on my hands and I like keeping a weather eye on things here in Thailand and overseas.
I'm interested, from a somewhat objective chair to see what's going on.
Hence my question.
Your comment intrigues me.
"One of the joys of being an immigrant in another country is that you don't have to give a toss."
I've been an immigrant in one country or another for most of my life and to ignore what's going on around one seems absurdly ostrich like.
Still, to each their own.
Ahh I get ya. OK - so you can look at the regional platforms of the BBC, CNN etc and get the opinions that the west want you to have about Thailand. You can go with English pro Thaksin news and get what the west / council on foreign relations want you to believe about Thailand. You can try Pro Blues / Junta Thai media and get what the undemocratic junta want you to believe about Thailand. Or you can do what most Thais do and say "ahh feck em - none of that matters to me" and carry on and actually get a life. Time on your hands? Why do you want to fill that with some form of propaganda? get a hobby
Weird News - Funny and bizarre stories in the news | Metro UK
I find the above site the most interesting when it comes to news. The rest is take with a pinch of salt.
Thai news?
Or fake Thai news created by Farang?
[doubt most will get it]
He doesn't get it at all, does he Jeff?
He's bored, so he wants to fill his head full of corporate bollocks, and propaganda from one source or another. Even most Thai print news papers are only full of celebrity tittle tattle, or at least that what the people read if they can be bothered.
Thai News? BAngkok Post, The NAtion. There you go - fill ya boots.
For news about Thailand that might not be ..er..discussed within Thailand, as well as news and comment about other south-east Asia countries, I find Home - New Mandala very good.
If you want to get news about what is happening in Thailand, don't look for news in Thailand.
Home - New Mandala
Great choice. If you look at who that is, where it was started, by whom, and why, and where, and the funding, you might decide it is better to cut the bullshit and jump straight to the mothership

Some decent honest reporting on there...
Despotic urbanism in Thailand - New Mandala
Noted that nearly all New Mandala founders, editors, writers, and assorted contributors [and others outside the NM realm] have been banned from participating among peers at the International Conference on Thai Studies, over the years, respectively in Chiang Mai; Bangkok; and Khon Kaen - which is a shame for an academic/scholarly conference.
Hence, the call for the permanent cycles of conference locals elsewhere besides Thailand.
The next scheduled [official] Thai studies symposium will take place in Sydney. [as it has in years past over 13/14 conferences - held overseas].
I listen to the old lady next door. A store house of all news of import to us locals.
No worries.
Lots of great comedy stations too.
Enjoy!
Get yourself one of these...
