British man dies mysteriously in Thailand just one month after marrying local girl

    A case for Teakdoor CSI

Stuart Diamond, 62, died three days before he was due to travel home to spend Christmas in Scotland.

A British man has died suddenly in Thailand just a month after getting married. Stuart Diamond, 62, died three days before he was due to travel home to spend Christmas and New Year with his family in Scotland.

Paying tribute from her home in Blairgowrie, his daughter Michelle Pol, 37, said the family were shocked and devastated.
She said the cause of her dad’s death was still not known.

Michelle added: “Because of distance and language barrier, we are still waiting for confirmation of the cause of his death.
“All we know is he became ill a few days before and ended up in hospital where he died on December 20.
“His funeral took place on Christmas Eve, the day after he had been due to travel home.
“In keeping with Thai culture, dad was cremated.”
“The funeral took place in Bangkok and Udon Thani, the village where he lived.”
Michelle said her dad only married his Thai bride Somoh a month ago

“We are all shocked and saddened,” she said.
“I’d bought him a present this year because he was coming home to spend Christmas with us for the first time in ages.”
Michelle said her dad spent part of his childhood in Glamis, where his mother Elizabeth was well-known for running the village shop and post office.
After he left school, he worked at Wilkies factory in Kirriemuir, before becoming involved with laying pipes in the oil industry.
His work took him all over the world, including Russia, Algeria, Italy and Portugal. He moved to Thailand in 1998.
Michelle said Mr Diamond divided his time between Thailand and Scotland and most recently lived in Coupar Angus.
She added: “Dad loved the Thai culture and really embraced the Thai way of life.
“However, he also loved Scotland and enjoyed coming home to have banter with friends and family.
He also leaves behind daughters Donna, Nadia and Sabrina, son Nathan and grandchildren Carla and Dylan

    People die suddenly and unexpected.
Not a mystery nor suspected conspiracies attached.

The word "mysteriously" appears to have been applied extremely liberally.

New title: "Some rando dies. Here's a pointless article. Enjoy!

Pics of Somoh, the rellies and the cars & houses he financed are required.

Should send dannyboy to the village to cover the story.

    The point is this,

The coont died and his Bint will just move on.

That's how the world works and rightly so.

I think they are told to marry by their bar ladies who probably say to the old duffers "you not marry me I go work bar again".

    As I've said before,

I give not one fuk regards fuk ups hooking up with bar girls except for this.

The fools that actually marry them give me unbridled happiness.

This is because they make me laugh like fuk and that's a good thing.

Dirty old Scotsman , rotting Haggis, hanging out with Thai girls younger than his middle aged daughters .
    Should be ashamed of himself.

This is his wife's FB timeline. Something is not right here - go down her timeline and you will see things about "my marriage not happy" as well as a lot of photos and comments that will be familiar to most people here and which would set off loud alarm bells for most of us. Anybody who's been in Thailand more than a few weeks will recognise all the characters on this timeline and know what to make of them, from the tattooed ladies to the hunky brother.

If you can bother your two brain cells and read the article, you’ll note that he’d lived in Thailand since 1998. Hardly a two week tourist marrying a bargirl.

Anyway the real mystery is why Bangkok jack thought this was newsworthy and why he called a Scotsman “British”. Ignorant tosser.

It's amazing how people just 'read' what they want to read with stories like this, though bob didn't actually post that he'd been in Thailand for two weeks.
