I could give you a list of places to go and things to do...Myself I had a kick out of having miss fish and pinkie video me as I tried to thumb a ride out of what I would call conservative VTE. The looks I got from the gals on their scooters as they whizzed by was priceless. The kid instantly figured out my game and had a good chuckle as miss fish held the Gopro near a street market on a main street. The double takes I saw when their heads were spinning was worth the effort. But of course I'm easily amused as I am.......

Maybe a quick trip over the border to Non kai and a visit to Wat Khaek for some quiet contemplation. Followed by sunning oneself at Non kai "beach" together with drinks from the bottle of duty free picked up at the border shared with the female "tour guide" picked up at one of the hotel bars. That should kill 2 or 3 days.

Za : You can see Vientiane from across the Mekong in Thailand .
Maybe you could arrange for Dicky to stand on the riverbank in Vientiane and you can stand on the other-side of the Mekong in Thailand, and you could wave at each other ?

Ive already invited michael barrymore dill. The goats been booked. Me and michael will likely be looking at a short police investigation followed by a massive kip payout when dickies found on the bottom of my pool in his boxers.
