I think what we'll do, is use the prices on January 1st. Will make it a little easier to calculate.

For anybody who fancies a punt but needs some info, go here for a look at the coins and their charts

    www.coinmarketcap.com

Also, let's cap the maximum diversification at 10 different coins.
Step by step, inch by inch, piece by piece.

The currency is fuel for the platforms.

Except when the currency is actual currency. Does that make sense? I think I confused myself.

Last 24 hrs to get in folks.

Tomorrow evening we'll set the predictions for a year from now in the whacky futuristic world of cryptos.

Will work on prices posted for those that posted 'em. For posts with no prices, will use tomorrow's prices.

A very happy, healthy and prosperous 2018 to all.

    So here we go.

I used the prices people posted to calculate the amount of each coin they hold. For those that didn't post prices, I used the coinmarketcap prices on the days they posted to calculate their holdings.

Well here we are.. first update.

It's certainly been a stormy first few weeks, some are still in the green, and some are just about to be kicked out by the Mrs

Leading the pack is our resident crypto guru Baldrick.

Yours truly nipping at the meister's heels.

Close behind is Jabir - (they weren't such terrible choices after all).

Ray and his FIAT - rolling into 4th place (don't get too happy - won't last long )

Plan B, another veteran, currently docking in at 5th position.

Behind him, GTR666, dabbling into the red a touch at just under his initial stake.

Earl, sticking with the classics, stumbling out of the gates a little.

David44, who didn't even know there was a piecoin, still in the race. A race he didn't even know he was in.

Ukan Kizmiaz, having to make up a lot of excuses to tell his Mrs very early on in the year.

And finally....Fiddler..... Plenty more months left fella!

    1: Baldrick - $1,374,974
    2: Albert - $1,275,263
    3: Jabir - $1,198,845
    4: Ray - $1,083,333
    5: Plan B - $1,022,156
    6: GTR666 - $987,276
    7: Earl - $882,199
    8: David44 - $698,722
    9: Ukan Kizmiaz - $593,007
    10: Fiddler - $299,396

We'll check in again next month.

Nice work, this latest dive has hurt some.

But likely the rebound will be spectacular

I think the rebound will be slow, esp without regulation, because that leaves the status quo as is and the FUD and flash crash as a haunting constant.
