Daughter just got home having passed the testing for her second black belt. This one in Tae Kwan Do; the first one in Karate. Lot of years of hard work! Not of much interest to most, but I wanted to put it out there.

Congrats to her. Does she still train in karate or just do Tae Kwan Do now?
Congrats to Davisetta Jnr.
I only ever managed brown belt in Karate so she's 1.1 belts ahead of me.
Good on her Davis, you must be proud as punch .
Get her into jujisu next, then she should be ready for MMA and Amanda Nunes
Obviously she enjoys it but does she have further plans? Move into MMA or something like that?
It's a bit different for women than men. She will not be up against the occasional macho idiot. I got tired of training injuries .....from kicks, mostly. But the strengthening from all that hard exercise will last her the rest of her life. Just make sure she gives up high kicks by age 30 or 35. Human spinal discs simply cannot take it too long.
When you are a fooked up old coont Davis she will be able to protect you from bad people.
Great stuff and good on her.
Cheers all. She enjoys it, and quite honestly there aren't a lot of organized sports for kids here. I got the twins into Karate when they were six - discipline, sports and something to do on the weekends. My son is equally good, if not better, but my daughter has more discipline. She trains hard, while her brother is a weight-lifter who tends to lose points due to a brawler mentality. No plans to go anywhere with it that I have ever heard - just fun, exercise, and hanging with friends.
Congrats to the daughter. All that hard work paid off.
Thanks for the red, Ray, Not unexpected from a kunt like you.
^ Also might have helped with nerves (if she suffers from any at all). No worrying about it for days in advance.
Big congrats!
Was gonna say Big Congrats Lil' one. But she's probably not that little any more, and also might take offense, come over and beat me up.
What a great early Xmas present for you both, Davis. I'm sure it must be reassuring, knowing that she can handle herself in the world. Well done!
Christmas came a little early, good for you all. High five her for us.
Congrats to Ms. K, well done! All the best to her & her bro as they go out into the big wide world. Just make sure she has lots of shoes.
Yeah, but can she do this to people ?
^she probably could, if she wore stilletos (and the mark would be smaller). Ms. K is on her way to being Imeldific - accdg to her dad, she has quite the shoe collection.
^She can borrow mine if ever she needs to make a demo of that sort.
