Congrats to your daughter, DK. Got my 6yo son doing TKD now, just passed his yellow belt (1st graded belt) after 6 months training. I didn't used to think that black belts should be awarded to kids when I was doing karate, but these days anything that keeps their head out of a phone or game console is a massive plus.
Hope she continues, and starts competing seriously. The kumite aspect of a lot of the martial arts is neglected because it's too tough for what are just paying customers / consumers nowadays.

^Congrats to your son...on his way. Took my twins over a decade to get to black belt, so they sure aren't selling 'em here. As you said, keeps 'em involved with something that doesn't beep....which is a huge victory.
