English speaking movies with Thai sub-titles?

A question was asked yesterday by a friend who would like to watch good English speaking movies with his Thai girlfriend who is learning English.
He wondered how to find movies that have Thai sub-titles so she could follow.
Anyone know?

(I tried youtube and only found one)

The audio seems to be in Thai

Yeah, I clicked on about 4 of them, they were all in Thai.

Theres a category on the right, it says 'soundtrack' ....you can't miss it as the list is in thai.

Click on that for the ones in english language and thai subs. A lot of films in there

Theres an app called U Play if you have an android box where you can have English subs on Thai audio and vice versa.

Its not free but quite cheap

How we did it, and this was 5/6 years ago was ...

Simply bought, from MBK (Bangkok) a series of DVD's which usually have 5 or 6 languages/subtitles on them.

They were 80 BHT. Always ask if it's a Master copy.
Don't try and get the latest releases as they are usually filmed on a cam in a cinema and crap.

The ones to go for are the ones which recently came out on DVD ... someone will have ripped them.

This is a bit older but a good film. I enjoyed watching it.
Well filmed, won some international awards.

I'm banned for never seeding. I still managed to get 10 films off them just in time

Have you tried searching for the subtitles?

It's not that difficult to download and use them.

There are several options, e.g.:

And of course you have Netflix and Iflix.

The thai films you can get subs for on there.

.srt files from www.subscene.com

Click subs then add the .srt file and it shows on screen as you are streaming. Good if the film only has dubbed thai. You can now enjoy Star Wars in thai with eng subs.
