Save water - drink your own pee
Save the earth - pedal around the world
Kudos to you on both counts there mate.
But on the other thread youre talking of mining bitcoins which........
The electricity used to mine bitcoin this year is bigger than the annual usage of 159 countries, Business Insider - Business Insider Singapore
Shouldnt you be linking your bike chain to one of these
^ sure, but Bitcoin is going force governments to act with more responsibity to available resources, and not follow the current very destructive path of unbriddled growth and consumerism. Which wastes much more energy and destroys much life on the planet
Could this be the answer?
But as usual one guy doing the work, one manager, 4 supervisors and a reporter watching.
When I read the title I thought Earl was going to cycle around the world.. reminded me of a German bloke that cycled to every country in the world when on the last leg and nearly home after many adventures and tribulations he went to England... and had his bike stolen.!
true story that
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
^
if i remember correctly there was another guy who was cycling around the world....until he got run over in thailand.
555 shouldn't laugh
A cyclist who travelled 335,500 miles on the same bike had it stolen within hours of arriving in the UK.Heinz Stucke had reached Portsmouth, Hampshire, on his continuous voyage - which began in 1962 - when his bicycle was stolen as he slept in his tent.
"I would do anything to get my bike back - I'm emotionally attached to it," he told the Portsmouth News.
Mr Stucke, from Germany - who was registered as the most travelled man in history in the Guinness Book of Records between 1995 and 1999 - put up his tent in Island View Terrace after getting off a ferry at the nearby port.

A Chilean cyclist’s attempt to set a record for biking around the world has ended with his death in a road accident in northeast Thailand, police said on Sunday.
Juan Francisco Guillermo, 47, was hit by a pickup truck and immediately killed Saturday on a highway in Nakhon Ratchasima province.
According to police and accounts on social media, Guillermo was attempting to set a Guinness world record by cycling 250,000km (155,350 miles) on five continents in five years. His journey started in November 2010 and was scheduled to end in November this year.

Damn bicyclists on the road....
PC Paul Jones of Hampshire police, who received the report of the theft, has taken pity on 66-year-old Mr Stucke and arranged for a replacement bike to be donated to him from the force's lost property.
Seems to me it is the fucking petrol guzzling air polluting environment destroying automobiles who are causing the damage to the planet and humanity.
Just sitting in a fucking car causes severe brain damage, and removes you from nature and our mother the Earth.
Fuck automobiles
