I'll watch how she did it tomorrow and show you the process.
1kg glycerin was 150 baht
Ginger 20 baht
Honey was in the cupboard and shes probably only used 20 percent of the glycerin to make those 5
Gonna find some better mould shapes. I have a few ideas, like boring out the holes in the above ones:)
Is that a bag of pork scratching on the right side?
Ginger lol
^^I wish:)
Its what AO said.... and the one above that wasnt used is bergamot, whatever that is
I knew because I make soap also but from scratch, oil and lye.
I’ve a project sitting on my work table now. Don’t know if I’ll get around to doing it tomorrow or Wednesday but will post up some pics, too.
Mould shapes not so easy to find.
Back in school, I made soap as an experiment in a Chemistry class. Like misskit, it was also from oil and lye (sodium hydroxide). It wasn't very bubbly, though, and had a soft consistency. Misskit, what do you use as hardener, to make it as hard as Safeguard?
@Dill - is that going to be your wife's side business or hobby? Just an opinion (as a user), I find that flower shape a bit impractical to use. Go for more solid geometric shapes, or hearts and less "curvy" flowers. Just a thought. Also if it's too curvy, it's gonna be a bit tough to package or wrap in plastic. Is it going to be scented?
^ yeah i think you need to leave them for 5-6 weeks for them to harden with the hot method you do anyway.
^^ think shes selling them to her friends on Line
^ ill look out for aome moulds for you
Lard...
on yer fat arse! :)
I thought it was that new poison stuff they were selling in The Hague.

You can eat thesse bars of soap Bogey. They taste bettter than some of the pies round here.
Meet me in big C car park later, for some holed out samples:)
^ The engines running pal.
Did you use real gingers for the soap?

^I sense ginger-ism in that post. Now, where's Prag, the resident ginger? :)
@misskit - we checked & used the soap only 2 days after, during the next lab class. So it lacked time to harden. However, I've noticed that of the homemade soaps that I've tried, which were usually given by friends. They often lacked bubbliness & hardness.
Dillis gone all boring I see. Last time i saw you do one of these "What this lot gonna turn into then" you posted this picture!
