Someone bought me an electric shaver a few years ago. It didn't get a close enough shave for me, and it gave me a bit of a rash on the sensitive skin around my throat. So I never bothered with it again, tbh.
Use a Mach 3, and usually stock up on blades in the UK when I go once a year on holiday.
This stuff is the best (good value here too) shaving cream I've found here:

But obviously if on your arm not in both directions!
As an aside...when I sharpen my kitchen knives I always test them on my arm hair. If I can't shave off a small runway, it's not sharp enough. I have tried shaving my face with the knives once they can shave my arm hair, but not sharp enough for that.
I think that's odd. Can shave arm hair but not facial hair.
Have been using the bic 'easy' cartridge system for the last few months.
Razor and three cartridges on 'plomotion' at Tesco lotus 99 baht.
Not to be confused with the bic disposables which are crap.
Best soap I've found is the Boots sensitive gel.
Gillette can stick their overpriced crap up their arse.
I don't like the feeling I get after electric shaver.
When I shave with foam and feel like born again.
Unless I'm going early morning muff diving, I shave later in the day, rather than shaving twice.
Has anyone used an electric razor on the wedding tackle? After using shears/scissors first of course?
Correct as with the denim. You push the razor a few times opposite to shaving.Originally Posted by Maanaam
I've got to stop listening to comedies while I shave, so many little cuts because of this silly habit

^ Fair play to you, Prag... wish I could grow a beard (kinda).... but it just doesn't suit my face... although I do sometimes sport a tache lol... mustache suits me - but prefer stubble or clean-shaven...
Most people say/think that when first growing one for the first time. For sure it looks strange having hair where for the last 40 years you was hair free. I shaved mine off 2-3 times before I said fcuk it and decided to live with it irrespective. My wife and kids like it so.............Originally Posted by NZdick1983
Hey Dick your facial growth couldn't be any worse than Keanu Reeves could it?
I would love to join the beard club.. I know it's the trend... although 2014 was 'peak beard', now it's not as fashionable (trendy)...Originally Posted by Pragmatic
I honestly don't think all men suit beards... some look better, some don't... think Tom Cruise... he doesn't suit a beard... (I'm not comparing myself to Tom) just making a point...
I do suit stubble, it frames my face (like 2-3 days growth) then cut smooth... that's why I was thinking to buy an electric shaver, to keep that stubble look
Reminds me of the old question: Why do gay men always have a moustache? To hide the stretch marks.Originally Posted by NZdick1983

You don't want an electric shaver you want a beard trimmer to keep the stubble look. I have a Kemei KM-605, cheap and reliable.Originally Posted by NZdick1983
It should be why do Italian men grow mustaches? So they can look like their mothers.Originally Posted by Maanaam
I could slit my mother's throat - quite nicely with that...
That being said, a blunt one would be much more fun.
I just bought a new Gillette one like that, but it had a button on the handle that made it vibrate. No idea why, but the new squeeze used it on her landing strip and it's blunt now.
