    Teakdoor report

aka how I got majorly fucked last night.

Had a fever for 5 days since the Patters trip. Swallowed 2 tylenols before going to bed to sweat it out. I did, but when I woke up later on I felt extremely sick, I assume from dehydration.

Get up to have some water and the next thing I hear is BANG! I open my eyes and a dear wife is standing above me. I'm like wtf and notice the blood all over the floor (poor quality pics were taken literally 5 minutes later around 3am). I touch the back of my head and there is a cut so fucking deep, it would make Nong Natt's clitoris jealous.

Off to the hospital ASAP. Wound all the way to the skull bones. Nurse recommends I stay for observation, but I have pressing matters to do at home plus I don't want to stay in uncomfortable hospital bed (Ram - not Bumrungrad). Take the CT scan instead (cheap! 7000b). No injuries to the head - released.

    Funny fact:

My head doesn't hurt at all. Maybe just now a little when it's healing.

My right butt cheek, however, hurts like hell and I can barely walk or move my right leg. My left elbow is also somewhat busted.

I will have this scar for life. What heroic stories should I make up? Dropping down because of a flu just doesn't sound right.

I really could have croaked in Thailand and become another stat.

I still wonder what I hit my head against to have a cut like this. It wasn't the stairs.

I think your wife did it. Do you have a generous life insurance policy with her as the beneficiary?

Everytime there is a TD members meeting someone always gets coshed on the head and buggerd. Looks like your practicing for the next forum meet.

Just say you single handedly fended of a machete wielding Jihadi who was about to blow up a school of young kids, should get you a few free sympathy fucks. Reminds me of a friend from years back he had 2 massive scars on his back from punctured lungs if I remember and used to tell the ladies it was from a shark attack saving a young kid, seemed to drop the ladies panties rather quickly.

Have insurance, but it's not great. Covers hospital stays, but no CT scan apparently (or very minimally).

Get well soon and rest up, buddy. Sizzlers by Food Panda all the way! Fainting is often caused by low blood pressure which could be caused by the dehydration, so I'd get some oral rehydration sachets.

Fainted once here in Mandalay due to food poisoning- was alone in the flat so it could have ended badly. You were lucky to have your good wife around.

    Good advice.

You may want to consider this.

I'd imagine they used surgical glue, which hurts way more than stitches for some reason.

That must have been a bad fever to make you collapse.
Have you been bitten by any mossies lately?
I'd get some blood test done once you've dehydrated and feel fit enough.
    Mend well soon.

I presume that you, the wife and the pet cat have been given a 5 day course of antibiotics.

If it was a fall or a blow to the head there'd be swelling. There is none, so you scatched yerself whilst falling. Get on with life yer poof.

Doesn't appear to have surgical glue in the pics.

They also butterfly the wound real tight for the first 24/48 hrs when using glue, and that would require a razor shave around the area. At least that's my experience.
