This is a good read. Atrocities through the ages:-

Genghis Khan stacking up huge towers of severed human heads is a particular highlight.

I've never forgiven Israel for dropping cluster bombs in Lebanon, causing children to die and lose limbs.

Hard to say which country I would say is the most despised.....just the usual suspects, I guess.

Hezbollah used them first knowing full well Israel would retaliate like for like.

    2006 in Israel:
Hezbollah fires more than 100 Chinese-produced Type-81 122mm cluster munition rockets into northern Israel.
    2006 in Lebanon:
Israeli forces use surface-launched and air-dropped cluster munitions against Hezbollah. The UN estimates that Israel used up to 4 million submunitions.
Thailand uses cluster munitions on Cambodian territory during a border conflict in February 2011.

This is really all this thread is about - you hate yourself, and you hate where you came from.

That's the whole left-wing wringing self-loathing histrionic hypocrisy in a nutshell.

What a stupid focking question. It's absurd to despise a "country", as if it's a monolith. That's like hating a forest, because you got hit on the head by a nut.

All this is about is contriving yet another self-loathing whinge about the policies of a particular government of your own country, and trying to pretend-contextualise it with a loaded question where the underpinning nonsense notion is that countries that interfere in other countries are bad - presumably because you are boiled up about Brexit, Trump, or the potential for conflict with North Korea.

One shouldn't have to say it, but have you forgotten about WW2? One of the most obvious examples how the extent of wrong that you are?

The implicit premise that a country "intefering" in the business of other countries is somehow worse that country perpetrating human rights abuses is deeply sinister and naive, and also bullshit - we don't see much hopping about in ire over Democrat or Labour Party government to interfention in other countries, despite the appalling chaos and human misery left behind every time they do; or every time they force a government they oppose to pull out before winning the peace.

So since the war your ancestors only bred with those of German ancestry thus keeping you a full blood German. Another one for the bsnub Walter Mitty files.

They were farmers and migrated to Virginia and on to Iowa. Farming was the family business and the last farm owner was my Great Grandfather. The communities were small and tight nit so yes for decades they they married other German blooded people. It was not until the twentieth century that that changed. So I do have Danish and Norwegian blood in me as well.

So you're more than likely a product of close family members breeding, does explain a lot.

There's just no way that your own gene-pool isn't more like a soup. A primordial soup full of closely related protozoa.

England can be pretty hateful sometimes. Especially when they plunder our oil, subject us to governments we never voted for and bore us to death about winning the world cup 51 years ago. Another gripe is the way they claim to have single handily won the second world war.
