You're quite happy with everything else I posted, otherwise you would have been unable to resist a critique, so all is good thanks.Originally Posted by tomcat

I'll agree that fancying/finding sexy thin models borders on perversion though. Quite foul some of them. Most are probably addicted to cocaine to feed their frail egos and keep them looking skeletal.
I wouldn't dream of such a thing, you can read some examples here.

The worst is today's young girls who look at these models on tv and in the media nad want to be like them. That is why looking at your article, I believe that a variety of shapes should be represented, specifically healthy looking girls. You can still be fit and healthy even if you are overweight as much as you disagree. BMI does not tell the whole story. You can get a very fit person who is muscular and be deemed overweight or obese even. Today's health professional's use bodyfat percentage more than BMI.

BMI being imperfect is yesterday's news, pb. In fact, you've been clinging to that life raft for years.
And let's be honest, you're no female Jonah Lomu.
I got a couple pics of Pb from 10yrs ago, an ajarn meet up.
Blonde, mid 50s ?

BTW, Cyrille, what would a female Jonah look like? Venus Williams?
Was my "Save a whale, harpoon a fat chick" post deleted?
Just mentioned him as in the 1990's he was cited as an example of BMI being an unreliable measure of obesity.
This is where a lot of pb's material comes from. Her put-downs are remarkably current though...NOT!
As for Venus...streets ahead of Serena imo.
Expect the music threads to be flooded by Mariah Carey tonight, btw.

Slightly less skinny women being the norm is good, but let's not kid ourselves that there are particular types of birdage that give you a stiffy. For me, it's the tried and tested 5' 8" athletic nice shoulders slender thigh and not too extreme hipped bond-bird; e.g.:
the oriental subcategory
and the 6 stone petite giggly ragdoll.

the funbag supreme

the rest of the body types probably don't do it so much for most people, and we all know when we feel like we're not at our best. All this "inclusiveness" agenda is so much cognitive dissonance, trying to make people feel better about being lazy and indisciplined when it comes to exercise and diet - diets in the developed world have deteriorted with industrialisation, and it's mainly advances in medicine that have extended life, but as for quality of life, that comes down to acknowledging that there is an optimal zone of health, and attractiveness is associated with that.
(just trying to raise the tone from all the worthy puritanism... don't you feel so much better looking a nice girly pic?)
Nothing wrong with being fat. Its all just icing on the cake! What counts is the person inside, but hey, I try to stay fit coz I want to be healthy. This is why I play a lot with my crowbar. Breaking sweat burns calories.

Healthwise, there absolutely is. Anyone who denies that may be in denial of many other things.
Conflating judgements about personality with a health problem, that's at least partly due to bad habits, is a bad habit...
There's nothing wrong with saying that there's something wrong with being fat, it's not a criticism of someone's personality, but it is a criticism of their habits and choices.
What's that a euphamism for? Is it like a "magic egg" masturbatory toy?Originally Posted by GracelessFawn
I think so, but many people are uneducated about healthy food, or can't afford healthy food. As well, the media really glorifies junk food, and junk food especially sugar is addictive as well... but GF has a point as well, look within before judging others. As for me, It took me a long time to change my habits to healthy ones and a lot of it is about moderation. I just came back from a spinning class and like to keep active as well.
