My wife and I returned from LOS on Saturday to Oz.

We have my wife's younger sister in tow for a 3 month vacation.

She has launched herself onto a dating site on the 'net looking for a result.

I am now being asked to vet the replies.

The prospects so far would make DJPat and SP look like St Francis of Assisi.

In fairness she is a looker, 35yo, no kids but the personality of a fruit fly and being generous 2% English.

I can't help myself but I feel like an older brother protecting my sister from rampant males at the school disco.

Any advice from our learned members?

Tell her to meet folk in real life not on the net.

Thx CJ, but the language barrier and her lack of nouse may be an issue.

We are in Adelaide FFS where would she meet a crowd here?

Ballera is in QLD.

She is a good looking girl - no kids - her arse would make a Sunday face for the mingers that DJ and SP chase.

I'd agree with doing the English course. It'd be daft to waste 3 months and not get a reasonable grasp on the language.

Hang out at local Thai restaurant. Bound to find a lonely bogan at the bar

Regent Thai is one of the best thai restaurants in North Adelaide, Adelaide.

Many decent Thai restaurants in Adelaide and Regent Thai is pretty good - no bogans there.

However in 2017 that would not be the venue to meet a decent prospect.

Let her get on with life. Enjoy it! Do what she please! Succeed in her endeavors. A gal doesn't really need a bloke to complete her life. If the right guy comes along... good. Being self-sufficient, independent and happy is important.

Wifey and I have done a bit of assisting. I wouldn't call it match-making, but vetting. Weeding out the dross.

Sounds odd coming from me the atheist, but have you tried your local church? Good moral Christian guy, as long as he's not a fanatical nutter.
Then there's the supermarket...single guy shopping for his TV dinners. Get her to trip in front of him...all the Hollywood ploys might actually work in Adelaide!
