Simple answers too difficult for you? Why don't you get a grown-up to explain my extremely clear responses for you, as can be seen on this thread they're not hard for most people to understand.

You're no good at it, that's the problem. Scampy you're not, no matter how hard you try.

Better a poor piss taker than having a stick permanently up your butt in the lounge.

My wife pays everything cash and I often ask her why she doesn't get a card, so we can earn some points. Her reply is that if someone lifts money from your account or makes fraudulent charges you absolutely have no recourse like in the West.

I don't trust card machines in shops here because of the weak fraud controls throughout the land.

My recommendation is to walk away since she will never change.
If the OP ever returns, I still want to know if she bought cool stuff with the money, or gave it to the boys in orange. If she gave it away, one could possibly make a case for mental illness as a defense.
Or of course she could have given it to her Thai boyfriend/husband (the one she told her "husband" was actually her cousin) so he could gamble and piss it away.
probably most likely - gave it to her real husband.

Quite bizarrely, my bank have this feature, they send you an SMS and ask you to reply 1 if it was you or 2 if it wasn't.

But funnily enough they never do it when I'm buying plane tickets or the like, it's only when I spend 99 cents on a frigging app or something.
Maybe no text because for plane tickets you become a 'cardholder present' if you are asked for the card at check in ?
I may be out of date on this info but my wife, prior to retirement was the Visa manager for Lloyds Bank Credit Cards.

I was simply using that as an example. The only time they ever ask me to confirm is on transactions under $2, and they do that every time.

However, they send an SMS every time notifying me of transactions, just not always requiring a reply.

Clearly the OP has no idea what his "wife" is up to and she's expecting him to bail her out.

Give it the elbow I say.
Yeah had some heavies rock up to my house on a Sunday afternoon and take the EX-missus scooter (that I bought) over a debt of 15k she owed, she begged me to pay them but I just said nah take the scooter. was a 2 year old Click that cost me 50k. An hour later all her shit was out the front of the gate in garbage bags.

Such a waste of 10 years of my life with her but shit happens.

99% of all my spending are on the credit card, I find it handy to not have to carry cash.

My balance is automatically zero'd at the end of the month though, thats the only way Kasikorn would give a decent credit limit (5 x my monthly salary).

The trick is keeping it zeroed every month. Many can't seem to do this month to month, hence the interest becomes a killer.

By the way, is that quote in your sig line from Butters for real? That would be so awesome if that really happened....

It is and the embarrassing truth is that Butterfly was correct. I cringe every time I see that quote because it shows how many people here don't know that "!" means "not" in logical notation. What the quote says is "100 mb is not equal to 1 gb" which is correct. I really wish Fondles would remove it as it makes him look stupid.

DrBob, why do you have Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov as an avatar? What is the significance?

Maybe you should ask Buttplug how to install a modem using Regedit.

Now that WAS stupid but it doesn't make the people who claim to be computer literate but don't recognise the negation operator any less stupid.

Whatever significance you care to put on it. I provide the image, you provide your own meaning. Personally I just like the combination of light and shade in the image, same as in my previous avs of a bust of Cicero (pater patriae in case you were wondering about that too) and Paul Robeson in a football uniform, and I also rather like the air of looming menance in the image which us accentuated by knowing who he is and what was to come shortly after that image was made.

At Peri Peri they had unplugged the card machine so they could charge their phone.

It took them 5 minutes to realise that after prodding and poking and examining the lifeless thing. Even pushing my card in and prodding the keys repeatedly

Luckily the manager seemed a stern and educated guy, who actually checked and traced the wiring while the staff were all bemused, confused and speechless.

Reminds me of that apocryphal tale of the cursed bed in the Indian/South African ICU where patients died with monotonous regularity.

Until a doctor working night shift watched the cleaner unplug the ventilation machine, plug in the floor polisher, do the floor and then replace the plug afterwards.
