And a tribute to My Irish father who little did I appreciate the man until he was long gone. It brought it home to me when I read a post on a forum I belong to for kids who grew up in my neighbourhood when I was pre teens.
Somebody posted about the charity sponsored holiday they had to the seaside, and many spoke about what a good holiday that they to had had.
Now I didn't need this charity, as My Dad had already taken me on family seaside holidays, I thought it was the norm, and I thought we where poor, as I was comparing my circumstances to kids who's parents went to Europe for holidays.
Makes Me realise that My Dad still managed to take us on a seaside holiday, so we weren't that poor after all.

Rovers Bar Soi 71/2 has Guinness Tonight or so they said?

Is that a rented shophouse type bar without draught lager and no aircon patronised by lower class English? Given the developmemt that has taken place during the past 10 years in Prakhanong and On Nut, one wondered if there were sufficient farang to sustain a decent pub there but I suppose it would only work if someone actually owned thr premises with accommodation on the top floors and using the ground floor as the business.

I always fancied the idea of it and had thoughts of Banchak as a likely district. Trouble is I would prefer customers to be nice, civilised, intelligent and interesting, and that's a fucking big ask among resident farang.

The Rovers seems to be run by an oik.

But still, all power to him and I hope he is successful.
