International DJ fame, well the only famous DJ I know is our Pat. I've never heard of her but she probably famous because Isaan housewives play her YouTube videos on the massive flat screen TV for their visiting Isaan wives to enjoy in their Palatial palaces in Farang land. She's Heard everywhere that Isaan brides gather in far flung lands.

The story goes she had no serious DJ aspirations at all until she met a guy online who told her he would make her a DJ and her looks would help.

Good on her. I remember her early days when her looks didn't do her many favours on the Thai scene. On bangkoktonight.com forum she would get slated to fuck by the trolls purely on how she looked.

So this BF and her carved out a niche abroad.

I can't honestly tell one DJ from another. A mixed tape does the same job IMO.

I've met Nakadia before though, nice girl.

Not trying to body shame or be cruel, but didn't she start off as E.T's hand double?

DJ: Someone who plays other people's records. To people who are so fucked up on shit drugs that they'd dance to the sound of a Bic pen tapping on a desk.

^Pretty much. It gets dressed up as skilful, innovative or technically amazing, and the drug addled sheep all buy into it.

And the images of DJs are usually of some twat dancing and waving to a crowd behind a laptop.

I'd just stand there playing songs off CDs, simple as that. Being a disco DJ, It's piss easy and a monkey could do it if you colour coded the discs and put them in order for him. Keeping a dancefloor full of people dancing isn't rocket science. It's what a dancefloor is for.

It's like saying a train driver's personality is wholly reponsible for people deciding if they'd wanna take the bus or train that day.

Although I don't really do anything now, I've got a couple of blokes on rotation as the work comes in.

This pic for example. She's fiddling with some knobs on the mixer but isn't wearing her headphones. So she wouldn't be able to hear what she's tweaking, mixing, or about to fade in.....so erm... why bother?......but she's gotta appear to look technical and skilful, it's part of the image that the masses get hoodwinked by ''she must be good...look what she's doing!!!'' etc etc

Female DJs have to do this more to justify to convince the people that they aren't just up there because of their big tits or fit arse. Image, man!

exactly, it's an act, but that's what people want when they pay for it

    it's really that simple,

would you expect a prostitute not to moan when you fuck her ? of course not, that's what you are paying her for, it's an act, doesn't mean she really needs to moan

    it's part of the job,

And an act in which the customer is rather more invested than he is when witnessing a DJ twiddle a knob.

I'm really not sure that many people are hoodwinked by djs.

Maybe she is turning the sound down so she can tell all the people on the left to whop wham boogie and the people on the right to boogaloo?

Techno DJs just play the high speed stuff that people need to get off their faces to allegedly 'enjoy'

I'd safely say that many at these full moon parties don't actually enjoy it but feel they should, just to fit in.
To experience one of these fills me with ultimate horror.
