Tax, I neither frequent beer bars nor Walking St, I do not venture down Sois 6, 7 & 8 and Soi Buakhao, LK Metro etc are strangers to me.

..... and i dont frequent inner cities after the shops have shut, weatherspoons on a saturday afternoon or council estates at any time of the day either, so i rarely encounter the type of character that you seem to imagine roam the cities and countryside of the uk like a horde of invading visigoths. i live in the outer suburbs of a large yorkshire city and even when using public transport to travel to the city centre, i have never been troubled by bad behaviour, aggression or loutishness, even when travelling through the "danger areas" that encircle the city centre.
