It's not unusual behaviour and fairly typical across the Kingdom. Urbanisation has simply fizzled the hard wiring a bit more and the traditional poo yai baan control has been diminished.

The police should simply shoot the culprits and hang their corpses from the trees. That should get things back on an even keel.

Here's an excerpt from Joshua Davis' account of John McAfee's time in Belize...Bear in mind, he had no internet...Into The Heart of Darkness, he went mad...

This bit is so much like Thailand:

But the methodical pace of Adonizio’s scientific research couldn’t keep up with McAfee’s enthusiasm, and his attention seemed to wander. He began spending more time in Orange Walk, a town of about 13,000 people that was 5 miles from his compound. McAfee described it in an email to friends as “the asshole of the world—dirty, hot, gray, dilapidated.” He liked to walk the town’s poorly paved streets and take pictures of the residents. “I gravitate to the world’s outcasts,” he explained in another email. “Prostitutes, thieves, the handicapped … For some reason I have always been fascinated by these subcultures.”

Though he says he never drank alcohol, he became a regular at a saloon called Lover’s Bar. The proprietor, McAfee wrote to his friends, was partial to “shatteringly bad Mexican karaoke music to which voices beyond description add a disharmony that reaches diabolic proportions.” McAfee quickly noticed that the place doubled as a whorehouse, servicing, as he put it, “cane field workers, street vendors, fishermen, farmers—anyone who has managed to save up $15 for a good time.”

This was the real world he was looking for, in all its horror. The bar girls were given one Belize dollar for every beer a patron bought them. To increase their earnings, some of the women would chug beers, vomit in the restroom, and return to chug more. One reported drinking 50 beers in one day. “Ninety-nine percent of people would run because they’d fear for their safety or sanity,” McAfee says. “I couldn’t do that. I couldn’t walk away.”

McAfee started spending most mornings at Lover’s. After six months, he sent out another update to his friends: “My fragile connection with the world of polite society has, without a doubt, been severed,” he wrote. “My attire would rank me among the worst-dressed Tijuana panhandlers. My hygiene is no better. Yesterday, for the first time, I urinated in public, in broad daylight.”

McAfee knew he had entered a dangerous world. “I have no illusions,” he noted in another dispatch. “We are tainted by everything we touch.”

i not unnerstaan. i flom tailaan.

success comes from success... being born with money, in the right time and right place... as long your parents understand which bit to put in which hole and not to pull out at the critical point. looks help, and that's backed up by science, which again, comes down to cum. and occasionally even having a talent can get you somewhere, but it's so dependent on your looks, and other superficial shit, and randomly meeting some rich oaf to give a break or fund it in some other way. it's all about cum and blood at the end of the day - sex and death... bollocks in other words.

But in the end, Tax, even you in your newly acquired rose -tinted spectacles, cannot underestimate the profound effect the lower end have now on modern British culture - their lumpen awfulness pervades every strata of the British cultural experience, there is no escape for anyone from their ignorant boorishness. It's everywhere, a loud-mouthed, tattooed, shaven-headed, loutish, profane, ugly, obese, brutish pestilence that seems to be visibly growing with every new swarm of the untermensch's feral progeny.
i dont know which part of the uk you visited, but that is certainly not my experience.
yes, they exist, and many years of socialist rule and blind liberalism have multiplied their numbers and nourished their ugliness, but outside of the inner cities and council ghetto estates they are not to be found in the ways you describe.

in the uk, avoiding them and their ways is as easy as avoiding walking street or nana.

time spent in the uk, or any other developed western country is the perfect antidote to the mental stasis and enervation that i feel after a few months in thailand.

conversely, time spent in thailand is the perfect antidote to the feeling of containment one can feel after time spent in such a tightly regulated society such as britains.

variety is definitely the spice of life.

I got 40k for two days work on the Hotta tv ad in 2003. I starred with Marc 'saw' Nelson, a famous Filipino/Aussie half breed.

It was a fairytale thing...woman approached me in a mall asking if I was a model!! But that time the pathetic luuk kreung ''lorr maak'' craze was well OTT.

They ran the ad every few minutes during Paradorn's Wimbledon appearances that year.

    You are joking, right?

From Barnstaple to Maidstone, from Plymouth to Preston the trail of vomit can be picked through litter strewn streets on any Friday or Saturday night in their centres, inner city or otherwise, it's a cultural hallmark of modern Britain as prevalent as their flesh heads, tattooes and track suits. And at any time during any day their heifer wimmin and feral brats clog up any High Street as they mooch around, grazing in McDonalds and pedestrian walkways fagging like chimneys and drinking from their tinnies killing time in their worthless benefit addicted lives until its time to buy a bucket of cider from Aldi or Lidl and return home to watch shite on their 60" plasma screen taking inane selfies of the utterly squalid lives straplined by louche remarks about how they like to be made airtight.

The entire society one encounters in modern Britain is founded on this trash bedrock.

At any anytime, in any public area or in any public transport there will always be this trash offering aggression and conflict at the slightest provocation.

Its endemic Tax. Admittedly the Cotswolds and bits of the Dales are unlikely to demonstrate such conduct but Britain is more Brighton & Hove, Brighton, Ilford, Luton and Scunthorpe than Little Warton-on-the-Bog and Throsslethwaite.
