GW Bush was a complete retard, didn't deserve the office of the President, a spoiled kid and a lazy and arrogant SOB

at least Trump is pretending to be a real business man even though he failed a countless number of times,

    Vive le Trump

Never liked Dubya much, but miss him greatly now that I've seen this interview and know we have the big Cheeto as SCROTUS.

No way he destabilized the middle east and we are still dealing with that today. If it was not for him and his administration IS would not even exist. Rethink you logic please.

Age and time seemingly bestow an air of dignity and respectibility even to the most odious of villians. Best we not let his newly acquired artistic sensibilities and 'aw shucks' tones lull us into forgetting how completely he and his crew fcuked our country. The most charitable feelings I can muster is that he was a stooge duped by more sinister characters in his administration.

despised and ridiculed him from the start...but in this interview, I thought he came over quite well.
Still had moments of his retardedness, but overall came over as not too bad.

He's still the village idiot, but it seems he's mellowed out and come to some semblance of senses.

Whatever the politics, it was a good enough and entertaining enough interview.

So basically we thought he was a dimwitted idiot until the yardstick for dimwitted idiocy was remodelled.

I think misskit's point is that it's almost nice to hear the old fuckwit speak after listening to that recently elected fuckwit...Why are there so many fuckwits?...

Pretty much sums up my feelings as well. The guy was the worst President. We'll see if Trump can top him

bush is almost certainly a fun guy to have a drink with or play a round of golf. i'm sure he's got some great jokes and stories.

but does he have the required diligence, intellectual curiosity and thoughtfulness to successfully hold the highest office in the land?

    of course not.

reminds me a lot of the present occupant of 1660 pennsylvania avenue.

Yes. He appeared to be an unwitting stooge amongst the likes of Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz, etc.
Until you remember his dear old Dad, and his "New World Order" speech.
