Just had last months bill from Vodafone - UK.

Much bigger than normal, so I looked at what was used.

There is a charge of 68 quid for 1 hour 25 mins to a Thai number I dont know.

The call was made starting at 10pm ( Pattaya time ) on the very evening I stayed in and went to bed early, as had to be up at 5am to get the taxi to the airport.

As I only have a UK sim, I am very careful about keeping my calls short - if I even have to make any.

Vodafone agree, I have never had such a high bill, and its not my normal phoning style.

So, question is, is it electronically possible for somebody to make a call via my sim or phone without me knowing. Is technology like that possible ??

Are you saying that your UK Phone/SIM was used, while you were in Pattaya, to make a call to a Thai number, for about 1 hour and 25 minutes?

There is a time difference and your bill probably reflects the time the call was made, in UK time, not Thailand Time.

Did anyone apart from yourself have access to the phone?
Is it possible you had a final blow out and went to sleep early and someone ragged your phone while you was comatose

It's possible to hack your phone via bluetooth and make calls.
It's why I always have bluetooth turned off.

^ someone with access to that sort of technology is not going to use it to make an hour long phone call to their mum in nakorn bumfuck.

^ Bluetooth only works within 10 meters usually just in the same room as it doesn't go through walls well.
No doubt that black albino midget in a purple tutu with a tattoo of mum on his forearm has something to do with this. The reason why the call is so long proves it cos he can't speak thai very well.

So just give the number called a courtesy call.
Might find out who used your phone then.

I find I get these same charges added on to my bill , especially when I blacked out, been mortally drunk whoring around pattaya.

Did have my bird with me, but we stayed in - not even one drink the whole day cos of getting up early next day for the airport.

I am guessing that the phone was charging all night from my laptop. I never use bluetooth, so I dont know if it was on or off.

why not just give her the number and ask your GF if she used your phone.

Sounds like you drunk-dialled your MiL.

GF never uses my phone, and she was in bed with me. Plus the call was nearly an hour and a half, non stop.
