If you have to ... BHT 10,000 a month is heaps, unless the car is on HP. Is the car older then 5 years?

Re the Bar Fine ... BHT 10,000 owed to the Bar is most likely bullshit unless she's under 20 and fresh from the Farm and the Mumasun paid the fee to her parents.

I'd guess that your lady is on the wrong side of 30, maybe the wrong side of 35 and there is close to a zero chance that she was paid a retainer/deposit to work the Bar.

How most bars usually work is ...

The Lady comes of her own accord, there is no sign on fee.
She gets paid circa BHT 8,000 - 12,000 a month as a basic salary.
Her bar fine gets paid to the bar, she doesn't get to see any of it.
She also would have a quota of 'Lady Drinks' which must be bought for her each month. Somewhere 30 - 50 I've heard.
The above working conditions are a general guide and not applicable to all Bars.
The Coyote girls, the hot dancers, might be on better packages. I know the ones in Bangkok are. They usually rotate through the night doing different shifts at Bars owned by the same owner.

Meet her Family, make some photos together, then, after a few months apply for a the UK equivalent of a Tourist Visa for her.

Very sound advice David48. You should write a book which could be mandatory reading for all males before visiting Thailand. It would save huge amounts of money and heartache, not to mention some balcony swan dives.
