I think the first weekend in April is good for me because my cousin will go to CM for graduation day on 2nd (Sunday) then I will leave here on Friday night (31st-March).
We should make it on 1sh of April, please.....
:party43:
I fekkin' hate Songkran, so if I'm organising it, no it won't be then.
I'll be holed up at home with a few good books and my PC.
One more thing, I will bring my parents to Ayuttaya during Songkran. If you guys make it on Songkran, I would have to miss it.
*crying*
Ok Ebenezer, you're the boss.Quote:

I'm with the fellas on this one. Songkhran is a time for hiding in house. Fuckin' CM goes nuts on holidays like this. The whole damn province is like KSR! Wall-to-wall cars downtown, girls selling beers to the revelers sittng in their cars, pickups laden with water tanks hosin' ever' thing that moves! Moat water all over the place.Quote:

But be aware April in CM is HOT damn hot! hotter than BKK even.
Christ you are a truly miserable bunch of fukers.
Songkran rocks.
Now there was me thinking that Songkran is in November and wondering what all you lot were on about but of course I was thinking of Loy Kratong so what the fok am I on about?
Are you coming up CS?
I'm fully aware that you are a motley bunch of winos but am hoping that there is a single golfer amongst you.
I am more your 'up and coming' type noony.Quote:

I am some kind of chance for CM in April but I haven't got a clue what to wear.
I love Songkran, but then I am a bit of a sadist
so fun to hose down some well-dressed tourist newly emerged from their nice hotel ... "songkran" ooh a real festival experience, must get some nice pics, I thi...gurgle gurgle"
or lucky people in the back of Sontaew, thinking they will keep nice and dry..hee hee
but nice and cooling in that hot hot time
Only time of year I use the car's Aircon. Rolled up windows and only go if you have to.
CS,
Loy kratong here is dynamite! A walk along the river reminds of this scene in "Apocolypse Now" You know the one, where they were high on acid and they come up on this base in retreat; the bridge, the rockets...
Love loy Kratong, lots of fireworks, food and no water fight
When I was young I enjoyed Sonkran a lot but when I get older, Songkran is a family time. I like to spend my time with my family, we just stay home, talk and eat! hahahaha.. yeah, eating! Thai people love eating.
The true spirit of Songkran is expressed right here. Thai are you sure?Quote:

The only good thing about sawnkran are the death polls held on most forums each year, it gets so exciting as the score gets nearer and nearer to what you have guessed, sometimes I get the urge to down a bottle of scotch and help bump up the count just so I can win, yep sowngkran is great :)

Oh and MD dont forget the TD meeting is at Jomtien. That is very near the "shithole" your words not mine of Pattaya.
I do remember well you begging me not to take my kids there for their birthday. It was great as the next TD meet up will be.
I still maintain that Pattaya is no place for children, places whith major child prostitution problems rarely are. I have never been to Jomtien and I am looking forward to seeing the TD massive in the flesh. Will you be there AO? I would like to meet you ;)Quote:

I haven't seen child prostituion(hmmm cant spell that word) in Pattaya in the last 12 years, obviously it must still be here, but it is not as prevalent as it used to be, I assume it is also quite prevalent in BKK aswell, should AO move?
Not that family orientated I hope! I want to wasted on Tequilla(sp) and pontificate about the merits of the drugs/whoring/alcoholism life-style I intend to embrace.Quote:

Righto folks, after exensive research the dog and I were able to secure Moonshine Place on Soi 4, off Jomtien Beach Rd, behind 7/11.
Moonshine Place boasts a tex-mex menu and has 14 rooms which are bookable without deposit.

Telephone bookings on 66-38-231-956
Locally call 038 231 956.
Ted the manager said that he thought he would have plenty of rooms available but there are at least 2 other hotel type guest houses in the same soi so I dont think accommodation will be an issue.
The rooms at Moonshine range between 550 baht up to 750 baht and all have seperate bathrooms, cable tv and other stuff that I forget for the moment and the price includes an American breakfast.
I said that I would give him an idea of numbers in the week before the 28th so you have until then to work out if you are coming or not.
So who is coming so far?
