ABC news radio is running a poll.

    The question is.

Is Australia Day important to you ? Your choices are

#1 No, it's just another day off 17%. (Brain dead).

#2 Yes, but I think of it as invasion day 36% ( Bleeding hearts).

    #3 Yes, I'm proud of our history 47% ( Ballsy voters )

    The poll is still running.

#3 voters are always at risk of being branded racist by the #2's for supporting their own flag.

Bit of a shame really, if the protesters who are pushing the "change the date"agenda put as much effort into improving education, health and domestic safety maybe the lives of indigenous people would improve greatly.

In the interests of equality, I am obliged to support the lady and the gentleman.

I was in Bali for a Melbourne Cup party earlier this year. More gracious hosts are hard to come by.

(When it looked like we had run out of beer, the host revealed that his washing machine was actually full of ice and amber nectar).

Aussie hosts and the Girl Guides share the same motto.

    Be prepared.

Invasion Day ... FFS ... get a grip.

That poll could have only been done in the Cider sippers in Cidney.

'Inner West Council bans daycare children from giving ‘traditional’ Christmas presents to teachers'

'Christmas banners without the ‘C-word’ have been torn down after a minister intervened'

F*ck them ... piss off the PC Crowd.

You speak for the few and not the silent many. One day, when I'm pushing up daises in 50 years time, 'you' might outnumber 'us' ... but by that time I hope the National narrative has changed and a more logical perspective has been grasped.

Me ... just back in the kingdom and yes, I raised a glass on this special day ... and watched the cricket.
