Well. no beating about the bush here. Thats me starting chemo on Monday!!
Sorry to hear of your diagnoses Patsy. You got to approach it with a positive attitude. After watching and supporting my mother through chemo I know how hard it can be.
Old mum got through it by keeping her sense of humour throughout. She is the only woman I know who pissed herself laughing as all her hair flew out the car window as we were driving back from one of her sessions. She knew it would come back.
Stay strong girl.
You're fat,Ill fro you in the river
See if you have the option of one of these, well worth considering.

You will get through it.
Make every day count and wishing you many, many more years to come once you've got through this. x
Stay strong Patsy. Keep your chin up. xx
Good luck Patsy. Tackle that Mo-Fo head on and kick its ass.
All the best, Pats. Good luck! *hugs*
tomorrow i may polish my boots
the good old black leather wide ones
waterproof yet light
like army boots
and maybe the next day i
will walk
on the wet winter trails
to the beach and the ice
on the lake
down the waterfront
between the steamship in the sand
and the casino
the crooks of our arms together
in the cold your face red
and alive with laughter...
Not much to report. I had my first lot of chemo a week ago. I am still in hospital, they are trying to build up my strength before sending me home.
My sister and brother are here which is good. We are having a good laugh, also a bit of a cry!
My hair will fall out in about 10 days, im not too bothered about that.
Thanks again for all your kind thoughts, and keep making me laugh you lot!
Hang in there girl, it'll all come good.
Incidentally, after the hair all falls out it grows back a whole lot stronger.
My pubes were like the amazon rain forest after 6 months. We had to buy a strimmer.
The bald patch, that had been slowly developing over the years, was gone.
Swings and roundabouts, mate.
Keep in touch.

Miss Patsy ... I, and I'm sure many, if not all of the members of the TD who read that comment cracked a smile.
Good to see you still have your sense of humor.
If you want the feel good feeling of seeing my boys smile, I posted this the other day ... https://teakdoor.com/3460368-post1088.html
