"Valved my windows up or down".
Oh dear !
I don't suppose I could have coined a new phrase, could I ?

WTF. A valve is a mechanical device that controls the flow of liquid, gas, etc., by opening and closing. So to control it you open of close it. Yes check valves cannot usually be manually operated.Originally Posted by Latindancer

As for car windows they are usually opened or close or maybe raised or lowered if you don't want them 100% up or down.
But valving
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?

Thank you for the technical advice for looking after a Diesel engine. I don't think I ever will go back to Diesel , its served its purpose over the years and now driving a Hybrid battery car has helped me only want to own and drive a Hybrid.
Lots of YouTube videos on New York Taxi Toyota Prius hybrids who are out performing other makes in longer major maintenance free life .Now there's a Norwegian Taxi driver who's Prius has gone 1 million kilometres with the same battery.
The main reason that My Hybrid is a Winner is I do a lot of town driving below 30 miles per hour. Slow urban traffic in narrow English roads a Hybrid is a performer. Diesels do better on open road work, not the low up and down revving required in town driving.
Got that right.
Convert you car to run on used cooking oil and twats come down on you like a ton of bricks.
Green my arse, tax comes first.
This is equivalent to the Thai government saying they intend to cut traffic accidents down by banning vans in favour of micro buses. It's all diatribe to present the apperance of action and care when nothing is actually undertaken.
