A chick I've met a few times said she has an account from her work (I think) that has 4 free available sign ups for this Netflix thing.

Never really been bothered. As download in 1080p works fine.

She sent me the details tonight, signed in using the email and password she sent, and I created my account. Which doesn't seem to be separate from hers.

Log in, and it looks like I can click on her account and enter that way, or the account I just created. I presume that isn't an issue unless she sees my history of 2 girls 1 cup on my account.

Seems a bit weird.

Plus it's all in Thai.

Presumably can change my account to English without hers automatically changing too?

On my main PC with 1080p TV and 5.1 SS, as opposed to via the Smart TV option. If that makes any difference.

Probably won't be bothered so can probably pass on a free account to someone, if they're not cheap. You'll just have to pretend to be Lulu.

Worth using or not?

^ if its free then yeah, nice to sit and have a flick through rather than downloading.. I personally wouldn't pay for it, there's a lot of shit on there too and If you are using a PC to TV config anyway then download a desktop app called Leonflix which works flawlessly with a decent internet package and has a shit load more movies and TV shows than that pile of bollix

My stepdaughter does the same . The top package allows you 5 different simultaneous sign-ins under one account and you can even create different profiles for each user. Her friends give her 100 a month for the password and her sisters (my daughters) also share it. Cheap way of doing it . You can switch it to English.

I reckon Netflix has a good selection but my problem is paralysis by analysis.

Keep adding shit to watch, open it, see all the un-watched stuff and don't know where to start, close it... Repeat.

I probably don't fit in the seriously hard up financial bracket but Netflix can suck my balls for their $15 a month. There's a few free apps on my Minix box that let me watch every movie and tv series ever made whenever I want to. I happily pay for live tv content - streamed tv is the only thing I have at home now - but you'd need fucking rocks in your head to pay for on-demand movies or series these days.

I have Netflix at 420 baht a month. I have an account, each kid one in Santa Monica and the other in SF have an account, and one kids friend in South Africa uses it as well. So its fine by me. Lots of documentaries that I like. One on F1 I am watching now. I stream my sports off of reddit for free and seem quite happy as are the kids..

Pay the minimum Netflix subscription, and a paid vpn. It gets around most issues including the geo issues. I just have to remember to change the vpn location if I want to watch player or ITV, C4 etc.
To get the most out of Netflix, I reckon you need the US access that VPN provides.

No idea about anyone in China.

Currently watching re runs of Star Trek Voyager. Just got to the bit where 7 of 9 is assimilated by Voyager.

Anyway I've packed a small bag of toiletries and other essentials for my pending arrest and incarceration.
