Video: Belgian pensioner attacked by Thai man half his age
A Belgian pensioner was attacked and punched to the ground by a Thai man half his age in an incident which has caused disgust in Rayong Province this week.
Sixty-eight year old Roland Hattercant, and his thirty-eight-year old Thai wife Atcharawadee, were driving their daughter to St Joseph’s school on Wednesday morning when their car was dangerously undertaken by a young man driving a Mercedes Benz.

Witnesses said the Benz driver seemed very cross when both cars pulled up at a red-light and Mr Hattercant got out to find out what the problem was, reported Tnamcot.
In an incident then caught on film the Thai man, aged around thirty-years-old, jumped out of his car and punched the pensioner to the ground in front of many witnesses.
The wounded Belgian and his wife then managed to complete the school run before driving to Rayong Hospital for treatment to his injuries.
They then reported the matter to Rayong police only to be told the Thai man had already reported them for the incident.
The Rayong police department have made no comment.
