    No, they didn't. But i know lots of people keep their pet's ashes. It did help in the grieving process. A cat or a dog are part of the family, are they not? And you miss them terribly when they die.

    My sister has the ashes of their dog on the mantlepiece, been there for 25 years. We wave at him!!!
