Frenchman in dramatic suicide in Phuket (Video clip)

Frenchman in dramatic suicide in Phuket (Video clip)

A forty-seven year old Frenchman blind-folded himself and jumped from the 16th floor of an apartment building in Patong, Phuket at 6.50am this morning, (21 October) killing himself instantly.

The tragedy was captured on film, which reveals other residents pleading with him not to jump, seconds before he launched himself off the balcony.

French national Mr Nicholas Gilbert Claude Cesar had been living at the mansion building on Azaria Road. Documents found in his room gave a telephone number for his family in France and a request to help for the payment of his room, rental car and a motorcycle.

His body has been taken to the morgue at Patong Hospital.

I am scared of heights too but blindfolds don't suit me and hide my lovely brown eyes from the view of others.

I'd suggest the chap speaking in the clip refrains from working as a suicide counsellor in future. It's not really his line IMHO

Wow , a revealing video, thanks to this I now know what it sounds like when a jumper hits the deck.
It sounds like he splashed into a swimming pool, then no, it sounded like a cars roof caving in.
    Anyway, it's loud.

    Depression is a killer.
I went through a bout years ago. looking back I can see that there was a bright side but I couldn't see it at the time.
RIP. And if he left kids it's them I feel sorry for.

Mental illness/depression *especially among men, is rife.

My best mate killed himself - RIP - very young, handsome, good education, wealthy family, everything to look forward to.

That was horrible to watch. RIP.

Th shld be called the land of the flying farangs. Heh.

On a serious note, depression is indeed difficult. Had a friend who went through it as well. Thankfully, she's over it now and is in a better condition.

    RIP to the flying frenchman...

Must be me, but I could no more watch that clip than witness a snuff movie which in truth is what it is.

    So what's the real story?

Couldn't keep installments running on the pussy, and the apartment and vehicles to impress. Bad pussy!

    Sad way to go nevertheless.
