Ghost Town: Thailandís Red Light District (Video)

Thailandís red-light districts were empty last night as foreign tourists respected a period of mourning for the king.

The girls, however, were all still waiting for customers as usual

Meanwhile in Blighty the peasants are revolting

'Nightmare. My holiday is ruined’: Western tourists complain that death of Thai king has spoilt their holidays as all nightlife is shut down for a month and full moon parties cancelled ......

Liam Pearce, 23, a steel erector and welder from Wrexham, North Wales, is due to fly to Thailand next Thursday for two weeks and said he was 'really disappointed'.

He said: 'It's a bit of a nightmare. I'm really disappointed.

'It's basically my whole holiday ruined. It couldn't have happened at a worse time.

No surprise really, they were trying to get people in the other night with "Happy Hours".

But no music meant no dancing, so just glorified hostess bars.

It really is amazing just how sordid this country truly is. Their much revered King has died and a period of mourning is in force, mostly through the will of the people yet they permit rows of brothels in its primate city to stay open with thousands of common whores plying their trade with impunity.

I suppose the loss of revenue for those who rake off corrupt payments would be too much to bear.

Still, I suppose they have no real comprehension of just how offensive the whole thing is. Quite disgraceful really.

People have to make money. They have families to feed and clothe and educate.

Why the fuck should the whole country grind to a halt because the government says so?

Let people grieve in their own way, in the meantime they have to earn a living.

It's not your fucking king that died you pompous twat.

Liam should think "out of the box" *snigger* and realise that with all the cancellations and postponed festivities that he will be batting them off with a shitty stick during his fortnight of cultural highlights.

Pimps, squalid common whores and corrupted parasites feeding off their sordid backs are not people as such but worthless dross too idle and feckless to get proper work.

They should close the entire meat trade down immediately. It's a national disgrace and embarrassment to any right-thinking decent citizen and appallingly offensive to the institution of the King and his life.
