i cant see it being implemented too strictly after a week or so.

I can't see it being implemented for a day in the village I live in. Some police own venues, and most like a drink, so everything will be normal in my opinion.

Yup, folk here watched the news, expressed their sadness and dismay then just got on with it. Drinking, eating and whatever.

Even for this exceptional occasion, such restrictions and observances won't be looked upon/taken universally...

And if all go along uniformly - be a week, tops.
