Kippercide Pommy racists ruck in parliament

Ukip said that Steven Woolfe collapsed outside the European Parliament following a "clear the air" meeting with colleagues this morning.

However party insiders told The Telegraph that Mr Woolfe was punched by a Ukip colleague following an altercation.

The Daily Telegraph understands that Mr Woolfe is suffering from bleeding of the brain after he was punched. One witness said he fell into a window after being punched.

    Update
Hull's Mike Hookem, Yorkshire and Humber's UKIP MEP, has allegedly punched a colleague in the face at a party meeting, leaving him seriously injured.

Steven Woolfe was "taken suddenly ill" after an "altercation" at a meeting of UKIP MEPs in Strasbourg, France.

There are conflicting reports over whether UKIP defence spokesman Mr Hookem, a former Royal Engineer commando, has been arrested or remains wanted by police.

That's why we need to get out of the EU, see how those Brussels MEPs behave.

... the exchange at the meeting went beyond the usual political to and fro. A statement Mr Woolfe had recently released in which he admitted considering defecting to the Tories had reportedly annoyed some other party figures.

As the discussion became more heated, sources said Mr Woolfe took his jacket off and suggested he and ex-commando Mr Hookem go outside.

In the ensuing tussle Mr Woolfe was reported to have hit his head, but when the fight ended colleagues believed him to be alright before they went for a vote.

Later on, Mr Woolfe was seen collapsed on one of the building's internal bridges. He reportedly told the person who rushed over to assist him that he had “lost the feeling down one side of his body”.

One has to be of the opinion that suggesting to an "ex-commando" that you take it outside is probably never, ever going to be a good idea.

ukip only ever existed to stoke the fires of brexit.

now that brexit is a reality they have no platform on which to stand and therefore have become rebels without a cause, and in all probability will disappear, not a bad thing really as all there is left for them would be a move further to the right with all that that entails.

their candidates, apart from the charismatic farage, have always been oddballs and extremists who really have no business being involved in politics at any level.

thanks to brexit, their meps now stand to lose their seats, their ninety grand per annum salary, limitless expenses and gold plated pension schemes and it is no wonder that tempers are short and fists are flying.

its yet another case of turkeys voting for christmas.

Paul Nuttall will be new UKIP Leader.

Woolfe just blew his chances by mulling joining another political party, then picking a fight, and losing.

^ Only 3 months ago, Nuttall said he had seen the toll leadership had taken on Nigel Farage, and ‘would not wish it on anyone’, including his loved ones.

Here's why Paul Nuttall says he won't stand to be UKIP's leader - for now
