...beat me to it! everyone knows you don't get success in Thailand by being open and honest... especially "no matter what"... and by the way, what was he doing BEFORE his adult life? and was that in Australia or Scaramento?!
Luigi look, apparently you need to be a liar and a cheat to want to live in Thailand, it goes with the territory.

Well, if i was on a budget.

I'd go and stay at this guys house. Even if he does have a girls name.

A lot of people couchsurf, or airbnb. You find millions of people all over the world using those places to find somewhere to stay for a night or two or offering theirs to make a few bucks.

I'm looking forward to staying in LT's mansion for 45 dollars a night.... or friend price 20. For ten of us.

This guy was ripped off by a bogus lawyer. I feel sorry for him - he thought it was all legit, and now its not.

Shise - he's American - i take back everything apart from couchsurfing the LT mansion.

It must be awful to be in the monkey house and to be Australian. Either one would upset me deeply.

Invest in a clusterfuck of a country like Toyland at your peril (especially a business in the public eye like that one)...

I kept my skin care business low-key/under the radar... made sure I had all the paperwork in order for my cosmetics... every ingredient in my products must be sent for testing/safety approval.

my mates in Korat had various businesses... I won't mention names... they owned bars, car rental businesses, real estate businesses, etc.. they all had to have paid protection from the filth... sometimes things went south..

Oh, to run a business and semi-retire in Thailand.. live the dream... but it can quickly turn into a nightmare..

But it's sad to see that Teakdoors CSI dectectives have gone from eagled eyed sleuths to Mr Magoo; standards have fallen so low that no one spotted it.

    Loren titled his piece:
    ''locked up abroad.. ''
which is the American dull name for the British series with the wonderful slang title:
    '' Banged up abroad.''

No problem investing in Thailand, if you are legal, this dealing with locals is not legal.

Just like car accidents, farang pays, until you call your number one insurance company. then they go away.

Been through it, have an SME company, chancers, but as soon as they realize it's a BKK registered they are gone.

    Not a local cop, government matter, DSI thing;
and no one wants DSI involvement
