Don't be alarmed it's not tomorrow, but would your place be underwater

Is this why big yachts are selling like there's no tomorrow ?
If the ice melted, I would go to the fridge and grab a handful from the freezer box to place in My glass, and when that ice melts, I'll grab another handful .
Sea level would rise 70m. I'm at 150m so no worries.
Yes...
I live on the 14 Th floor, no problems.
I can't believe that figure.
Surface area of Earth is 510 million km^2.
70% of that is the sea. That's 357 km^2.
Multiplied by 70 metres, that's 25 MILLION CUBIC kilometres of water/ice.
That's an awesome figure.
Consider Australia. 7.7 million km^2. That means the non-sea ice in the world would be equivalent to Australia being about 3.2 km high, solid ice.
OK....I see it now. 70 m is realistic.
Keep in mind that sea ice melting will make no difference to sea levels.
At last a player with his finger on the bucket.
Do we have contingency plan for Terry who doesnt even know the moisture is looming over his thong or are some case beyond buckets
Doesn't look like anything to get too worried about.
Very well thought out. I cheated.Originally Posted by Maanaam

OLogy
So which is worst? Sinking cities or rising seas?
Bring it on - keeps me in work
