    Anjem Choudary Charged

Can hardly put into words how happy I am by this news.

Radical cleric Anjem Choudary guilty of inviting IS support - BBC News

One of the UK's most notorious radical clerics has been convicted of inviting others to support the so-called Islamic State, it can now be reported.
Police said Anjem Choudary, 49, had stayed "just within the law" for years, but was arrested in 2014 after pledging allegiance to the militant group.
Many people tried for serious terror offences were influenced by his lectures and speeches, police said.

Sentencing on Sept 6th. Really hope they throw the full 10 years at him.

The charge carries a maximum 10 years. He should do it in solitary.
His human rights can get fucked.

Make it tough on him too.

Any 'in yer face' street preaching ought to be banned.

Xtian's will cry that proselytizing by Xtians was ordained by Jesus. It definitely was not.

There were only a couple of bunches of his followers that he sent off on missionary missions like that.

Since then, many Xtians have taken the view that all Xtians have the right to go out door-banging or getting all hallelujah on street corners.

They don't have that right as Xtians, never did, neither do Muslims or anyone else.

Public displays of religious head-banging are a disturbance of the peace, and all religious head-bangers need a good kicking.

Mind you, my idea of charging him involves shoving 50,000 volts across his bollocks.

Police now investigate Anjem Choudary's wife

Anjem Choudary's wife is under police investigation after being featured in a documentary about British women who support Islamic State.

The programme, broadcast in November 2015, features Rubana Akhtar, referred to as Umm L, ranting about plots against Muslims and referring to "filthy Jews".

On Tuesday it could be reported for the first time that her husband Choudary is facing a prison sentence for drumming up support for Isis, after 20 years of carefully staying on the right side of the law.

The father-of-five was a leading figure in the since-banned extremist group al-Muhajiroun, and a string of his followers have gone on to be involved in terrorist plots including the murder of soldier Lee Rigby.

Choudary's Old Bailey trial heard that Akhtar had run up £100 phone bills while trying to spread her extremist views.

Scotland Yard confirmed that an investigation was launched in the wake of the Channel 4 Dispatches documentary, and is ongoing.

The documentary shows footage obtained by an undercover reporter of her addressing a group of women and teenagers, telling them of "plots" against Muslims and describing the "audacity and the arrogance of these Jews" over the Palestine conflict.

She also hails the establishment of a caliphate - a symbolic Muslim state - by Isis, saying: "The good days have already begun, nobody ever have thought in our lifetime we would see the establishment of the Khilafah [Islamic State]."

And she claims that more people are becoming radicalised as a result of government moves to stop extremism.

"If they thought it was a plan to deradicalise people, God they got it so wrong, because if anything more and more people are becoming what they call radicalised," she said.

Just seems to me if you can get ten years for hailing the IS, how long should one get for creating, funding, training and arming it, or do laws no longer apply to politicians?

Or doesn't it matter any more, because your caring leaders have distracted you with an object for national hate?

Fact is IS is here to stay while western leaders massage figures and maps to tell us not to worry they're on top of it. Swallow that at your own peril. And if IS goes (like who and whose army?), then as with Choudary and the unarmed geriatric cripple murdered in friendly Pakistan, it becomes instantly irrelevant since there are no end of as radical replacement imams, leaders and budding caliphs to fill their vacuums.

And considering Choudary is on bail until sentence, who believes he will get anything like ten years? Get real, more like a token ruler across the knuckles.

So go ahead and join the other warriors celebrating the glorious victory of an imam with a dependant wife and bunch of kids facing jail in Britain of all places; I am sure there will be no belated bleating at any fallout.

No, fuck that, Guantanamo is a horrible embarrassment.

Choudary is Britain’s problem and needs to be prosecuted under British law and if found guilty punished under British law. Personally I don’t think he needs solitary confinement, he should be put into general confinement, preferably with some white supremacists.

Found guilty so believe he is behind bars now.

If not for him a quite a few would still be alive today.

So he'll do some serious time.

And then transferred to funny farm.

Being a lawyer he'll keep milking and playing the system..

13 complaints from prisoners at Britain's toughest jail you won't believe are true - Mirror Online

I'd put him in a cell for a year with that Charles Bronson character then a night train to Broadmoor and let the headshrinkers do their worst..

And after the authorities did something dumb like that, which parts of England do you think will burn brightest?

Don't be ridiculous, you're talking about the UK, they don't butcher wogs for all to see, much better with bombs in faraway places.

Unless you mean the warriors, lots of them around and the anonymous internet posturing suggests they could cope with culling a few hundred thousand against zero resistance.

Of course they will; they are bound by rules and also probably know better than you do the importance of keeping the peace.

And I doubt very much that screws want to face prison jihad; it's not only the prisoners that are locked in.

A multimillion-£ two-year intensive investigation, >3 Tb of data, and hundreds of thousands of man hours which when successful temporarily neutralises one imam who is just as potent on either side of stone walls, while whoever takes his place may well be low profile and even less polite.

But you people see that as a victory.

Carry on like that and I might start feeling sorry for UK.
