You'll have to ask the local cop. He makes the law. Probably B500

I am pretty sure it is legal even in Europe. Side saddle, as per the thaimeme pics, is illegal but sitting astride, forward or backwards is okay.
I had a pillion sitting backwards going round the TT course one mad Sunday. He was taking photos of a couple of friends following; how he managed to hang on is still a mystery to this day....
In the UK it's only legal if footrests are provided. The passenger is not required to use the footrests. Swear to God I am not making this up!Quote:
