Does anyone know the law here in Thailand regarding a motorbike pillion passenger sitting in the reversed position? It is related to a video shoot. Thanks

You'll have to ask the local cop. He makes the law. Probably B500
Don't know . But you will see it often when they are pulling a trailer
Perfectly acceptable....
you just use helmet cuz if u fall will not pain too much...your neck will still ok...
Tee-shirt and shorts will surely see the skin ripped off though. very painful.
I am pretty sure it is legal even in Europe. Side saddle, as per the thaimeme pics, is illegal but sitting astride, forward or backwards is okay.
I had a pillion sitting backwards going round the TT course one mad Sunday. He was taking photos of a couple of friends following; how he managed to hang on is still a mystery to this day....
In the UK it's only legal if footrests are provided. The passenger is not required to use the footrests. Swear to God I am not making this up!Originally Posted by Troy
Thanks, I knew the stupid UK law about foot pegs, also knew about the use of camera in Europe, just trying to find out how it was applied here by our freedom loving Junta General.
You should just put a false headlight and handlebar set up on the back, copper would be still scratching his head or nackers wondering what to do,he would probably think you
are just doing the normal thai thing and riding the wrong way down the street.
