    Where am I?

I'd put my 'X' on the very right-hand side of the photo.

Ah yes. The infamous tv mast. As I recall while young somchai was putting it up on the day of the first England game (vs Paraguay) we indulged in a rather substantial amount of booze, and subsequently passed out before the match started.

    Splendid.

I just had a squizz at a couple of familiar places and it looks like it's 3 - 4 months out of date? The aireal view at least, not sure if that's just those specific places or in general though.

The streetview van doesn't turn up on a weekly basis, Tony.

The views of our village are about 3 years old.

Sometimes you should just pause for a breath.

In your rush to find something to take umbrage, fling poo, and get snarky over you often miss stuff.

the moobarn where I stay is not on google maps as the streets are not included - the main road at the front is there - I had thought about updating google maps , but wonder if I should.

I was surprised that a country watering hole I visit was on the street view - though much upgraded since this photo - she now has a brick building with a real toilet at the back

If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

Nah, that's Chas area. (where is he nowadays?)
This is Chaweng, mountain side of the ring road. Posh nowadays is Fisherman village, Bangrak, and everything mountainside.

I might be on Google Maps Street View, lol. Having a ciggie at the end of the soi (dead end) and a car came down the soi, did a 3 point turn behind me, and then slowly drove back up. I turned around, saw what it was, and photo bombed it. My motorbike will definitely be on it, parked up in front of the house. Wifey will probably be visible, too, sitting at her desk in the front room.
    World famous in soi 4/1.
5 minutes ago (16:30), today,13/07/16. Be interesting to see how long it takes to get uploaded.
I'm surprised. I thought it might take years for them to get to this neck of the woods.
