Must have been early on, before young somchai erected a 50 foot pole upon which to hoist an aerial to watch the footy (2006 world cup?)Originally Posted by somtamslap

Ah yes. The infamous tv mast. As I recall while young somchai was putting it up on the day of the first England game (vs Paraguay) we indulged in a rather substantial amount of booze, and subsequently passed out before the match started.Originally Posted by withnallstoke

Just click on a spot near to your house on street view and up it pops.
I just had a squizz at a couple of familiar places and it looks like it's 3 - 4 months out of date? The aireal view at least, not sure if that's just those specific places or in general though.
The streetview van doesn't turn up on a weekly basis, Tony.
The views of our village are about 3 years old.
My place in the far left, the google map car didn't do sand roads

In your rush to find something to take umbrage, fling poo, and get snarky over you often miss stuff.

I was surprised that a country watering hole I visit was on the street view - though much upgraded since this photo - she now has a brick building with a real toilet at the back
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.
I might be on Google Maps Street View, lol. Having a ciggie at the end of the soi (dead end) and a car came down the soi, did a 3 point turn behind me, and then slowly drove back up. I turned around, saw what it was, and photo bombed it. My motorbike will definitely be on it, parked up in front of the house. Wifey will probably be visible, too, sitting at her desk in the front room.
World famous in soi 4/1.

I'm surprised. I thought it might take years for them to get to this neck of the woods.
