    Show us your impulse buy

Came across this on e-bay by accident while looking for something else and on an impulse I had to own once again the exact same watch I had 1981

It has a stopwatch with hundredths of seconds and it makes a little beep when you touch any button and it has a tiny light which I can't stop pressing under the covers when I am in bed.

I always wanted one of those with the calculator buttons on.
Bought a WW2 gas mask the other day for £ 10.50 + postage.
Weird item , will post pic later.

Had my fingering hovering over the buy button for a kayak this afternoon.

Thought about for 10 seconds or so before deciding I would literally never use it.

    My shit doesn't stink!

The kids are going on a school trip to a WW2 air raid shelter dressed as evacuees.

    £50 normally.

I'd post a pic of my gf but I haven't made the final payments yet.

She has tunnel experience if you need a guide out of Laos.

Just don't tell the Feds. There was something I just can't put my finger on it.

Bought one of these at the Thai Airforce Museum. Never plucked up enough courage to fly ( I mean BREAK it).

Found an old "barn find" scooter I was going to restore so bought the book.

    Fortunately never bought the scooter.
    No green book.

Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?

Yeah, I think I had one of those in '81 too. All the rage.

I bought a boat off Trademe several years ago.
Impulse buy? Maybe not, more like far too many bourbons at 2 a.m idiot buy.

A lemon. I fixed it up. Fibreglass patches all over the place and re-sold it: total profit $5, which didn't include factoring in my labour.

After that, I decided I would try and live by the rule to never drink and online auction.

I bought this icecream/frozen yoghurt machine all the way from the States with the grand idea of making my own ice cream.

But then I realised I couldn't be arsed.

It sat in the kitchen for six months, then I gave it to some bird who was into making her own non-dairy stuff.

So basically I paid a shitload of money for some fucking brownie points and that was it.

    You're all pooves...

I was ebaying for a Sony tablet, but it's blimeywell difficult to get anything to Korea at a reasonable price, so ended up buying this for the car (wife)...

    $300 delivered - I suspect, I should've got a $100 one instead.

    I was robbed...
