^That will be a fun build Spinner

I think I might have found a worthy foil for Davis on his Jungle reconnoiters in this lithe Viet Cong Scout. The front of the box says her name is Linh

I think Katie could teach Linh a thing or 2 about optimal wicking wonder-wear for the woman in the jungle

    Show us your impulse buy-img_20230606_003507-jpg

Linh will be squaring up to Davis' fearsome arsenal armed only with a purloined vintage M1 rifle taken from an early Vietnam War US scout before they switched up to the M14 and then M16. She is also sporting a fetching US Army webbing belt

But maybe Davis can flip her if he knows the psycho-tactics...

Or maybe Linh will flip Davis since she has home advantage...

He will have to get into her box first to find out either way

Yeah Loops. I have built 5 aircraft in a row. Time to change it up. Plus I want to get my wife used to motorcycles. Then when I buy one again, I wont have to hide it from her I want her to learn to ride. We can be one of those riding couples.

    Bellissimo!

I remembered that Lego did one, checked out their site, and saw a nice Ferrari 488 in race livery, 48cm long, so pulled the trigger.

^ The purchase hasn't gone through yet. Which is odd.

It's either out of stock or the family have cut me off.

    Please be out of stock.

There's a good thread some lad did 13 years ago based on photos of the female soldiers of the Vietnam war.

Many have been lost to Lulu's 'You Rock' image hosting update, but most still remain.

Great thread. I think I remember that one in all its original glory.

She is sporting a rough and ready jungle backpack that our very own Viet jungle adventurer Katie would approve of I think

She feels very skinny through her navy communist pyjamas but I think that is the result of the Victor Charlie plain rice diet

I have not had the timerity to peak underneath her togs while she is still simmering about her box getting raided

At the risk of getting pulled up for posting drinks in the impulse buy thread by Willy and Stumpy, I thought I would pass favourable comment on the very quaffable Hook Norton honey-colour Haymaker Pale Ale 5%ABV I supped on while watching Blackberry this evening

The label claims to be 'like sunshine dancing on the tongue' and who am I to argue, with the cute little picture of the Cotswolds horse and hay-cart. Ooh-aaahr!

    WELCOME TO HOOK NORTON BREWERY

Sitting in its beautiful, mellow Cotswold Hills landscape, Hook Norton is a proudly independent and passionate family business that takes the very best of its handcrafted brewing heritage and combines it with a thoroughly modern approach, to create a range of real ales for today’s drinkers to enjoy.
Hook Norton is one of only 32 family owned breweries and is the finest example of a Victorian Tower Brewery in the country. Of course, the brewery is about so much more than just its fantastic range of award winning beers. At the brewery we have a shop, Malthouse Kitchen Cafe, free museum and meeting rooms. We have 36 pubs that are at the heart of many of local communities, serving great drink and food to the region.

Many of you will know Hook Norton, having tasted one of our beers, visited one of our Hook Norton pubs or indeed having come for a brewery tour, but few will know the full story. Our history and heritage are a large part of the picture, but so too are all the things that we are already achieving today and, of course, our plans for the future.

It would be nice if the parts were bagged up and numbered per page of the manual in which they are required.
