My truck had bad paint and at one point had been in an accident and ended up on it's side. There had been some 'home-made' paint repair.

So it had to go to the body shop first where they stripped old paint and repaired the body, smoothed, primer and undercoat (white) so if I remove the wrap it's ready to paint any colour.

Body shop cost me 21k but it was worth it and it was dome properly.

This is Songkhla remember and I have a very good english speaking mechanic that outsources all the work for me and keeps an eye on things. You might struggle for these prices in in Patts.

I have pics of the process, if you're interested.
    Cheers.

Thinking of wrapping my Ranger satin black, good to know how much you paid so know how much the local joint is trying to squeeze me for..... I was thinking Less that 30k and I'd do it.

Ranger is a 2020 model and body is flawless..

I was quoted 24k from a shop in Hat Yai that I found on FB.

I told my mechanic and he just blurted out 17k straight away. Basically everything but the wheels, windows and tray. Including the grill, mirrors, door handles, foot rails etc.

I went matte black. It gets dirty really easy but it carries it well.

Decent price that to transforms and protects your motor.

Is it common over there this wrapping mallarky.

Might look into having my motor wrapped and not around a lamppost.

    I'll check on the cost.

I wanted matte black and the paint was also quoted at 17k but the carpinter refused to do it as it's not easy, had done it several times and was never satisfied with the results.

I believe you don't need to fuck around with your documents if you change the colour by wrapping either, since you haven't actually changed the colour of the motor.

Yeah so was mine, but I'm told you can just show them the paint if they get arsey about the colour when you renew the tax or transfer name.

    Lookin good.

I'd love to matte black my March. My father in law is a retired car painter though so would probably kill me.

He did put GB flags on my mirrors tho.

Ask if he would paint matte black. If he says no you're clear for a wrap.

I've been meaning to get one of these for a while but haven't got around to a trip to Decathlon.

Saw this outside a charity shop with a price tag of £20,offered them £15 and it was mine.

Brand new and never used, result!

I got this guitar in a pawn shop 30 years ago.

These Elixir Nanoweb bewts popped up on my EBay feed which got me to pondering when was the last time I changed my strings and I concluded that it was probably 15 years ago. I am embarrassed to admit the neglect of my trusty strummer but hope these spanky replacements go some way to making amends. It is actually the nanoweb coating that made the old ones last so long. Before nanoweb, strings used to be dead in 3 months. Awesome technology and comes with a Goretex logo now. I don't remember the association with Goretex last time I bought a set.

...could maybe do with a new pick guard too but it adds character and I am not even sure how to get it off

Ribs don't take long in an airfryer, get up later. Have a few more beers and bang the ribs in 30 mins before blast off

You dont mind tough ribs? Joe put a rub on them. Put them in a baking tray, and cook covered in foil for 2+ hours at 180-220, fall off the bone good.
