Ordered me up a Greenworks Cordless tool set. Saw a few in the states being used by the vineyards staff and found I can pick it up here in Thailand and not worry about having to get it all in a suitcase. . The product is designed and engineered in Sweden.

The hedger head ( 2nd pic) can be adjusted at 90 deg so you can top off hedges. The Pole chainsaw will lop off branches very easily and no need to be up on a ladder. Its only 40Volt and I prefer my EGO 56V tools but this should work out just fine. I will spend some time using them and feedback what I think.

Look forward to seeing your usage report. We also have a bloody great hedge and in this season it grows like, well, like a hedge. Can we ask you the price of this unit and was it on Lazada?

p.s. I hope Mendip takes note of your photograph footwear.

Impulse bought some gallium from China. I suspect it will be a tiny amount considering how much I paid...

I got the battery all charged up and did a quick zip along a small section of our hedges with the hedger attachment and it worked very well. I think using the extension piece would make it awkward to hold and balance but I did not try it. I also tried the pole chainsaw attachment on a few branches and it zipped right through them. I do like the hedger attachment being able to adjust to 90 degrees. However if your hedges are wider than say 20" it will not reach across them.

I think ultimately I will use my EGO hedger to square up the face then come back with the Greenworks to get the higher section that I cannot reach but would like to not have to move a ladder along.

I will do a section of my hedges and post up some pics in a few days

What part of “show us” are you having difficulty with?

I showed you with words. Close your eyes and think of gallium. There you go. Still struggling? Maybe a search engine could help. It was an impulse buy, hasn't arrived yet.

I don't know why I've been mentioned here, but just to be clear... I have never, and never in the future plan to wear 'Big C Adda sandals'...

My last pair was Puma and quite expensive. I've also had proper Adidas.

As for my 'silk wicking under crackers', don't knock 'em until you've tried 'em. There's no more crotch rashes for me.

Is your hedge taller than 5 foot high? Is that why you can't reach it??

They are just under 5 ft tall ootai. Being I am a 3.5 ft tall midget I don't like jumping to try and trim that last bit.

All kidding aside our hedges are nearly 12ft tall now. This rain and sun cycle caused a huge growth surge. I need to take a few feet off the top but that will require my gas hedger and a lot of work. My wife is looking to find a guy to come do it. Hasn't had much luck yet. It's not an easy job.

Gotta be honest here Mendy. I have never experienced crotch rashes here or anywhere so the need for Silk wicking underwear won't ever be required.

A small section of the hedges surround the perimeter of our property. Its a 4 or 5 day job at say 4 to 5 hours a day by myself to trim them up. I just measured this morning, they are 13ft tall now. Need them around 10ft

How much you paying? I'll come up and do it for you for the right price.
Just a warning though, I would take the bottom 3 foot out first to get them down to size.
No way I could work 10 foot up on a ladder.

After visiting my parents In Napa they had purchased a robotic floor sweeper and cleaner. I have to say I was quite impressed with how well it worked. Their house has a lot of carpeted area plus a house dog and the thing kept the floor policed up nice.

My wife ordered one just as we started to return back home to Thailand and it was here when we landed. Finally got it set up and have been using it for 4 or so days

    We have been running it for 4 days now on a set timer. A few comments for anyone interested;

    • I highly recommend you get the self cleaning one like we did or you will be cleaning the filter and collector brushes a lot.
    • Make sure of the overall height of the cleaner because if you have low furniture it might get caught up and error waiting for you to move it along. I had to raise my couches a bit with spacers as it would bind up but now it flies underneath and makes quick work of it
    • If you have those small cheap Thai type rugs the machine binds up in them. It was an GREAT excuse to toss them out.
    • It says it has a perimeter sensor to avoid falling over and edge like say into a bathroom as many house have the step down. I have not actually watched it there but I would definitely check on the model you are looking at so it doesn't take a header down some stairs.

So far it zips right along and cleans up everything. I especially like that it picks up jinjok shit along the wall areas. Big win IMHO

Dropped by my tyre shop for the free 10,000km wheel balance, rotate and alignment.

Left there with "balance arms" fitted to the rear........ I understand what they are supposed to do but not sure how they achieve that.

fuck it, its only money !!

Well we had a guy come today to look. We said you tell us how much to do the job. He never offered a price and said "Too much work". I can only laugh as he didn't even toss out a number.

I told my wife I am not going to wait 6 months until we find a person as they will be 15 feet tall.

I got out my gas edger to see what it needed and had to fix it first. Lines all rotted out and carb needed some love. Gotta it all cleaned up and fired right up and started section 1 of 5. I face the hedges first then top them later.

The big effort is the line you can see that is still over hanging. I need to top off about 2 feet. That will be done on a 12 foot ladder so sorry Ootai, this job isn't for you. . I have to say though, If the guy had said "10K baht I will do it all" I would have said "HIRED !!!!!!"

I have always seen those and like you understand the principle but did it change the ride height in the rear? Did it change the overall ride quality much?

Interesting. What's the model serial number? We have a Dyson which, given our number of animals, is constantly in use.

    PAG,
We purchased the Lazer 5 by Autobot.

Couple of additional notes. We have an upstairs/downstairs place. Our dogs do not come upstairs into the main house and liv and sleep downstairs. So we are not fighting dog hair. Just routine dust, cobwebs, jinjok shit and human traffic debris. I am not a "Take the shoes off in the house guy" so when I go upstairs, I leave them on unless muddy or really dirty.

Bayyery life is really good on the units so far. Its been zipping around while I have been on TD updating stuff.

The jury is still out on ride improvement, I fitted as the tail is a bit loose on the motorway when carving up lanes at 140km/h +..........
will see tomorrow if there is an improvement.

They do not change ride height though, am already up in the front 3 inches and rear 1 inch.

Thanks for that. Just ordered from Lazada, best price I could get was 18,990. Guess should have it be Wednesday. Our dogs can only go downstairs, though of course the 4 cats go anywhere they wish.
