^ Sold the cabriolet?
It'll come back mate, you'll see... (or maybe not up there)
And when it does, the shops will be empty and the prices double and it won't be me with my ballsack welded to my inner thigh
I had something altogether different in mind.
^ You bringing one camping?
One sister playing the violin, you with the fan and the other on the flute
My mate bought his Son a fake Liverpool jersey off Lazada, you should see it, it has a badge in the centre of the chest declaring Liverpool the Qatar World Cup Champions 2022.
I bought a 1 gallon carboy...
Not for brewing my own beer. I will use it to do the classic bell-in-a-jar demonstration of how sound energy needs 'matter' in order to propagate. I've stuck a tube into the stopper and right now some silicone sealant is curing around where the tube goes through the stopper, (although it's a good fit anyway). I have a small buzzer that I can suspend inside the carboy with its battery.
I hope to use a small aquarium pump to suck out the air (just enough to proof that the sound energy diminishes as the air is sucked out).
Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile
Will the demo come across ok on the net, good luck with it - you vould check out old reef lectures for inspiration.
I've ordered from Ali Express this *ah-hem* homage to the Rolex Milgauss. Should arrive late May.
The original at USD$ 26K -54K Rolex Milgauss | Chrono24.com
Benyar brand NZD$ 75.70 (free shipping) The Benyar has the Sea Gull ST 6 movement which should be reliable enough (or not). It's worth a punt.

pues, estamos aqui
Got a small job to do on M'Sahib's Honda Accord, replacing the window trim and seal on each of the 4 doors (she'd ordered the replacements, which arrived yesterday). YouTube tells us it's a simple job, though best done with sockets removing the holding nuts rather than a spanner. Don't have sockets, to a look in Lazada for something cheap and cheerful got me this delivered just now. At 153 baht for the set, certainly cheap, and it's not a heavy duty job so should work.
^ cant go wrong with that. They'll probably rust up but you could give the a misting with WD40.
I hated not having the right tools for the job in Thailand, i found the first year or so a catalogue of visits to DIY shops with different tools required.
Just a follow on from my post #2093, and my 153 baht socket set. This was the job required, removing old window weather strip and installing new ones on M'Sahib's Honda Accord. The front doors required the door mirrors to be either removed or, in the case of the passenger door, pulled out and held whilst the strip was changed. Removing the door mirrors required a speaker cover to be removed to expose the mirror holding nuts.
Socket set was just the job.
Passenger door mirror wrapped to prevent damage to the door.
Door minus old weather seal and cleaned.
Close up of one of the old weather seals, and how the rubber strip has perished.
New ones
The car was new in July 2008, and has still only done 26k kilometres (but serviced every year). Think M'Sahib plans to keep it forever.
