Amazon has "deals of the day" that often has Items I was thinking of buying , but did not want to part with the cash, at significant savings, These deals are available for a limited time, and are sols out quick. I guess a mechanism to get you coming back daily, and often compulsively buying things.
A few weeks ago while checking I saw this 25v battery operated vacuum cleaner ,with good reviews, normally selling for $150. on sale for $99, and jumped on it.
I love it, If you have the opportunity to get one, I highly recommend it, It hangs on the wall, and when ever I see a bit of dust, hair, bread crumbs or what ever on the floor, I pick it up, and vacuum, remove the long tube and it is great for cleaning the car. My floors and car have never been more clean.

Actually M'Sahib and not me on this occasion. She's started to get into farang style cooking recently, and got herself one of these which arrived today. A double sided pan which looks pretty good and should be useful for a range of cooking. There's a magnet arrangement on the top and bottom handles which secures them together.

I may be frugal, but one has to when bringing up a family on a budget.

We are not all Twich/slum landlord millionaires

You've seen what I'm capable of eating in the kitchen forum.

Look quite all right . . . but the salmon looks unhealthy. Not for you but for the fish itself . . . pale.

You're not much of a fan then, as most real fans will watch it on Saturday.

Frugal? Really? LOL. How much do you spend on alcohol per week/month, Joe? And cigarettes?

I didn't check that until tonight. It is not like I am going anywhere to watch it. I will be sitting home as usual these days.

I saw a cheap oximeter on Lazada, Baht 79, and thought "Yes, need one of those." Then I thought B79 was a bit cheap for a such a gadget so when I saw the one pictured for B259 I bought that too. The more expensive one, pictured, arrived first. The cheap one is still swimming from China.

At total B418 for the pair including delivery but not batteries I thought that I could compare the two because an innaccurate reading is not very helpful. In fact it doesn't need to be precise, so long as it is consistent. Now I have a baseline reading of O2 at 97% if the time comes when Covid arrives I am looking for the delta. Say I am feeling unwell and the reading drops 5 points then I can drag myself off to hospital before I reach critical. This is a theory I hope not to test.

I bought a think that clips onto the top of a beer can and apparently makes it like a draft beer. I'd post a link but the software here makes it almost impossible.

    It's shite anyway.

Finally got a little model of the highest decorated boxhead of the war, Oberst Hans Ulrich Rudel, to crew his famous Stuka.
