The BF said that guys like their space. And indeed, they did. When I came back after ~1 hour to report that I've made a choice (of shoes) and the sales lady was getting my size from the stick room, I noticed that there were 3 men sitting on 3 separate benches. No talking with each other, all were busy on their phones as they waited for their partners!

You guys are all Imeldo when it comes to sports shoes!

Oh, and impulse buy for today - a pair of cheap ballet flats. Can be used for the office, the mall or travelling. (OK, I'm trying to justify my purchase.) I'm an Imelda too! Lol

Mine don't last anything like as long as that. If I get half as much that I am pleased, but they are usually well shot by that time. But you are quite light. Perhaps that is why your running shes last so long.
